HERE COMES THE FRENCH ELECTIONS

The French Elections are here, Sunday to be exact, and traders are on edge. Heading into the election, the S&P 500 looks very healthy and constructive, with the $SPY closing at a fresh new high. The daily chart is actually a thing of beauty, see below:

Fed leaves Rates Unchanged; Traders Expect Rate Hike In June

The Federal Reserve left rates unchanged yesterday, but many expect a rate hike to come in June. The financial industry will continue to benefit in a raising rate environment, and many names within the industry are starting to turn back up.

If we take a look at the $XLF, the ETF that tracks the financial industry, the bulls are fighting for control of the 50 day moving average, as it has bumped its head the last two times. That may change soon, even as early as today, as many names within the industry look ready to move higher:

Mark Cuban is Buying Twitter; Shares Spike

Mark Cuban was just on CNBC speaking about how important artificial intelligence will be in the coming years. He states $TWTR has finally got their act together as they have shifted their focus on AI, as evident by the latest conference call.

Share are spiking and trading higher to the tune of 4% on Cuban’s comments. The bulls now firmly hold onto the 200 day moving average.
