        Crazy to think it’s been 5+ years now since it peaked. Meb Faber did a study I think last year talking about how assets / sectors with 4 years of losses tend to outperform significantly going forward. Gold hit 5 years last year and look at how it has performed this year. Turn has to be close I would think.

          yeah – i think copper is going to be more tied to industrial demand. remember that countries have strategic stores – US sold off a lot of their stores after the cold war ended. China has a longer view and if prices get too low, I can see them start buying again to stockpile

          I hear ya. It just seems like fundamentals matter less and less these days. Fundamentals were bad for EMs, gold and nat gas earlier this year but they are all doing really well now.
