Every chart I look at is registering overbought like a mother. Doesn’t mean that we can’t eke out some more gains here. I just wouldn’t bank on a big run, that’s all.
I may get some TZA this week, or QID, or perhaps even some SPY puts for the first time in an age. You know how bullish I’ve been these past months since early September, so you know this is a serious admonition…

bought spy puts on Thursday’s VIX spike, continuation of the same today, the question im wondering is will the new year buying/allocation rally last more than a week?

Jake, Happy Holidays! I missed your AVL play because I wasn’t able to make my order through with the old ticker AVARF. LOL. Is this a long term hold or just a swing? Is it too late to buy in after 28% gain in one day? Thanks.
I think this isn an M&A type play, at least. I would wait however, after the big runup here. Maybe grab a little, so you’re not left off the bus. However, I think you would want to look for a flag pullback to $5.50 to $5.75.
