Excerpt: TIPTOE THROUGH THE TULIPS. from CreateCoin Premium

The bottom line for the markets is that we continue to bounce around, seemingly flailing in each direction without any real resolution. But I believe we are doing exactly what we should be doing from a technical perspective and I expect the flailing to continue. We may breakout or down marginally several times through the course of the year and that will serve to swing the market indices from support to resistance. It will continue to be very tough to choose market direction for longer than a week and perhaps it is finally time for real stock picking instead of concentrating on market proxies. Maybe I’m being anachronistic but there is always a backlash when things get too extreme and the market’s reliance on near-term direction and computerized trading could be ready for a change.

NZT looks great on the daily re the bearish to bullish reversal. I like any pullback from here in it.

    Holy Shit.

I haven’t seen that video in decades. It is more bizzare than I remember. Think he’d make it past the first round of American Idol?

You do know that he was a media sensation. He married Miss Vicky, live on the Tonight Show with Johnny Carson and it was one of the highest rated late night shows in history.

Gotta go watch it again! Thanks MX!

This was in an era when probably most American homes had just three TV channels to choose from, and only the radio and record player as alternate home media entertainment. You can see how The Smothers Brothers and Laugh In bothered the network censors, since these shows were beaming into the homes of middle America. As an adult I see the Tiny Tim bit is just basic gay club schtick, but outside of NYC and LA that was outrageous for the family living room at the time.

Back then, over the air radio had a monopoly on music entertainment discovery via broadcast distribution.
(besides the occasional music act on TV) Now all kinds of media compete for the ear’s attention.

The Other Shoe is about to drop for over the air radio, when mobile Internet access brings IP radio to cars.
That will remove the last bastion of a near monopoly for radio. Unfortunately radio has largely lost the ability to compete on content alone, as a result of the 1996 deregulation economics.
