Pre-Keith Era

Forgive me if I indulge in a bit of schadenfreude, but I am just revelling in this discussion on MessNBC between usually insane Lawrence O’Donnell and the rock hard komissarette Rachel Maddow, who in my mind is the second coming of Madame DeFarge (The Tale of Two Cities Jacobin head chopping villainess).
O’Donnell is basically shooting down Maddow’s lame excuse that Speech Eater Russ Feingold is losing tonight because he was somehow “outspent,” — as if his multiple term incumbancy and the ownership of the big Wisaconsin newspapers and universities means nothing. I have to say, it’s refreshing to hear a lib make an honest comment once in a while, but it’s even more of a cherry on top that he is slapping down Maddow’s excuses at the same time.
I know nobody watches the Mess, so you have me to thank for enduring it for a couple of minutes in order to bring you that slice of apple pie. In summary — I’d remind my fellow Reps that one of our strongest advantages is that most of these loops are spending 24-7 in a dream world of their own contrivance.
Whatever the case, I am glad that at least one-half of McCain-Feingold is out the door. May all Speech Eaters meet the same fate, should they dare to attack any of the Bill of Rights.
Especially the whole quartering of troops thing. I hate when they insist on that.
Fraud Alert: Breaking news is reporting that they’ve had a “power outage” in one of the big electoral districts in Nevada, making it difficult to start counting the vote. Meanwhile, MessNBC reports that the Reid campaign is “quietly confident” about their chances tonight. No looking behind that curtain now, plebs! — that the infamous public sector union, the SEIU is in charge of all the election machinery in the greater Vegas area has NOTHING to do with this scenario.
I assure you, sirs!
