p.s. if you do CHNG, that $18 print was a single tick at the open when the stock got listed on Nasdaq on June 5th. literally 1000 shares at the open at $18 and then it went back to trading normally back in the $12 range. sucks for whoever had that market buy at the open order!

BAA and ANV both being discussed on PPT tonight. From John’s show/teaching tonight it looks like they are both very attractive i.e. higher highs over time, just bounced off 20 day MA, other MA’s below price now and moving up, volume increasing.

I was taught to trade simply. Use support & resistance, use breakouts and trade. My portfolio doesnt reflect it, but it is what it is.

Nice. How much room were you willing to give the trade when it dipped below that uptrend line after your entry?
10 to 20 cent spikes to either side of a S/R line in oil are okay to me as long as they reverse quickly. I would have been shaken out if it got to 69 and cut through without a bounce.
Waiting now to see if it can clear the upper trend line that told me to get out of the 1st half…
btw – I love that that was right into 1pm – after lunch traders got back and jumped in

I am in /ES short at 1053.5, tried the same trade yesterday but chickened out. Shooting star topping at resistance 1054.50, 5 minute chart. Now its choppy and refuses to break down from bear flag. Should stay below 1051.50, 1 dark cloud covers and bearish engulfing here.

/GC is looking pretty strong too – broke the 1050 resistance number – see if it holds overnight

massive volume with a spike up on 6E Euro futures – the last 15 minute bar was bigger than any in the past few days – even during regular hours – there is usually follow through after spikes like this – they can be a wild ride but I’m in for a little to see how it plays out. 1.4762 – only 2 contracts since I’m still in crude oil

For what time frame? You have to count the number of candles per day and multiple this by which ever number of MA you want. This is an estimate, but close…

They just added /QM (micro crude oil contracts) $500 per 100 tick move vs. $1000 per 100 ticks.
