Gotta run till end of day. Not setting a stop under HLCS – I accept it will be wild ride but I don’t trust myself to have the cojones to buy it back. What’s left represents a 4x position in my portfolio after todays run up and sales – playing with a significant amount of the house’s money helps – hope some of you cleaned up on it too.
HLCS flew right pass my radar bro, i was looking at it yesterday too but didn’t look at it til it’s too late.

Best day of my trading career, up north of 10%. I’m not messing with my current mix. Overnight holds HLCS , SQNM, TSTR, TSO, STAR, PAAS. Around 70% cash.
First, a tip of the hat to iBC and of course CA – for teaching me to recognize buying a flying stock can be a good thing, teaching me to hold through peaks, recognize consolidation, and reminding me to take profits. Any egregious losses I suffer are because I forget my lessons here, while all my gains are a testimony to the outstanding counsel rendered on this generous forum, by tabbers and posters alike.
My take on HLCS is that it is not another JAZZ (although JAZZ was very good to me). I humbly offer HLCS is the first one out with a game changer – deep in the heart of biotech.
Think about it. There’s no way all these biotech companies scrambling to find the next great gene therapy, while burning through millions a quarter, will hold back on buying this 1 million dollar box – that can save them months of screwing around. Competition seems a long way off – probably when generation II for HLCS is released. I think the week is not over for HLCS at all.
That being said – as we all know here at the house of iBC – if you buy this stock you may wake up one day naked in a field, having forgotten your name. Worse, you might find that JoshDog is lying next to you naked too, and feeling cuddly.

Drug delivery best I can tell – I’m a little spooked because there was a weird ass spammer pumping it on google finance, all over the HLCS stuff last night and today. I actually checked out their website and saw DCTH having a good day – but it felt too slimy for me.

I really have no idea, but barring a bad thing – indictment, fraud, etc. – the leap here is mind boggling – and the competition has no product out.
I’m just doing the basic math, nothing more. A million a pop and 1/4 million recurring. All these genome mapping smart research monkeys must have this machine. All of them. Others will be dusted.

I think this was mostly day traders jumping on a train, and realization sets in with the real investors this week and the stock hits $5 or $10. If it does and you own it cheap, a thank you will be fine. If it tanks and the CEO is found guilty of embezzling funds to pay for his trips to Thailand to encourage young Thai’s to stay in school, just please don’t come after me or my family.

Well I for one got squished today at the open. Guess that’s what happens when you try to try to assign a direction to the S&P as it runs around with its head cut off. I fell into the ‘trading for trading’s sake’ trap this morning hard. Didn’t realize it till I was already down moderately after three losing trades. I’m considering printing out the chart and sticking it on my wall as a reminder.
Today’s lesson: patience young grasshopper.

Anyone with Etrade Market Trader?
I could not get the software to recognize FCE-A ticker. I tried FCEA and FCE-A, none worked. Stockcharts and Yahoo finance could.
I use Power Etrade Pro and if you input it as FCE.A it works fine – Forest City Ent – Class A ($9.25)
