VIZ – I have been following PRE.TO. Solid company, although you could get it at a lower price.
Expect at least a pullback for BLC. Just expect it in your head, so you don’t get surprised if it happens.
PRE.to is in a sustained uptrend so I don’t really have any comment.
REV is a decent setup, but kinda leaning on that 20-day too much.

Back with more ANPI at 2.13 on this pullback. Market cap seems quite a bit low to me. Fair warning; my cost basis in ANPI is a lot lower than yours! OCLS seems to be coming around for another pass as well. I’m looking for some new ones…picked up XRTX yesterday – thin but seems to be making a move. It’s tech, but if I’m not mistaken it seems to have a lot of room.

Hey CA,
Make sure that anole has a heat gradient that goes up to at least 85, provided by a UV producing incandescent light. 1/4-1/2 inch crickets are the right size-adult crickets are too big for most anoles. Use a powdered supplement on the crickets. I like to put them in a small ceramic crock, that way they don’t end up hiding all over the place and eventually the lizard will learn the bowl is the best place to look for food-you may want to split the feeding at first (half in the bowl half just running around) till he figures it out. Mist the cage at least twice a day, they don’t drink from a bowl. Mealworms and waxworms are fine every now and then but are not as good as crickets for a staple.

TC – that’s the stock showing a $19 profit in my portfolio. Profound laggart compared to most everything else I’ve got. Doesn’t seem to be doing much, but I think CA would say at least it’s hanging in there above the 200 day. Seems a reasonable biotech sweepstakes entry to me(http://www.vical.com/clinicaltrials/index.htm) I’ve still got a half position. Not likely to sell unless it breaks down.

Anyone been watching TGX? Intraday seems a bit messy but daily it seems to be one of the few biotechs that has yet to break out from its lows. That fact combined with the volume spike in the past week makes me wonder what’s brewing.

Semiconductors are giving the Nasdaq a very strong underlying bid but we have a real “junk” stock festival going on also. There are a lot of low-priced and very thin stocks making strong moves and in many cases on lighter volume. My scans for stocks that have the biggest volume increases shows that about 60% of them are priced under $5.
It is very easy to jump to the conclusion that this sort of speculation action is a sign of overconfidence, but trying to time the market by using it as a contrary indicator is impossible. I’ve commented on this sort of “frothy” action several times in the past month. While it has slowed down a bit on subsequent days, it keeps reoccurring.
Once traders have a taste of this sort of action they keep hunting for the next set of names and they create their own momentum. These stocks aren’t moving because of their superb fundamentals; they are moving because the technical patterns are working and traders can make money be being aggressive in chasing them.
For so long last year and early this year we did not have any of this sort of trading so you can’t blame traders for indulging while they can. Just make sure if you play the game you understand what you are doing. These aren’t long-term investments and the risks can be quite high, but it is what is working and that always attracts folks who will keep it working.
