This year, same as last year…

Nobody dares say “green shoots” this time around, but most trend investors are thinking it. Hell, we don’t need no green shoot this time because the economic recovery is real. Right? Well, it doesn’t matter because the market says so.

We’ve just finished a record setting month, with performance hardly seen in decades. The markets have been taken to extremes, but that is par for the course with a marketplace that is dominated by trend followers who are ready to go past all semblance of “normalcy”.

We ended 2009 and began 2010 in a very similar fashion. Enjoy the “deployment” party and get ready for blow-off action with your finger on the trigger!

significant fading action in alot of names today…

I stake ZERO claim to being smart about market timing, but gun to my head we get some pain sooner rather than later.

Congrats on one of the best performances of any blogger in 2010, btw

Let me correct you, Mr. Bull market genius:

In the deep dark summer months, near SPX 1050, I called for a test of the yearly highs before the cold weather.

That happened during the second week of November.

Before today, we eclipsed that by about 30 SPX points or 2.5%.

So, I caught 180 SPX points or 17% and I’ve left a few scraps on the table for the hypnotized and sonambulent lemmings.

BTW–why do I have to deal with people like you?

You don’t. You can ignore them. If he knew anything at all, he would have known your record. Which obviously he didn’t.
