Hey OA, I own some JASO nov. 12’s that I bought last week… any thoughts on when I should sell those and move to Dec’s? Also love this as it seems like it will move to $16 SUPER fast. 🙂
Let’s watch it for a couple days…you might need to roll to Dec to catch the entire move.

OA, what do you make of the action in the homebuilders? They have been doing a steady drip pretty much every day.
Range. Ups and downs. If you bought at the highs, it would feel as though everyday was down. If you bought at support, you’d see otherwise.
LOL. Bot KBH at $18 and it sucks. Bot HOV at $4.97 and I’m diggin it.
Hugging support with light volume. They have to make a move soon since consolidation is getting tight. Need an initiative buyer to step in and they should all pop.
OA, this trade seems to go against some of the concepts you preach about entry points, not chasing big moves, etc.
obviously the structure above is very enticing. I’m just very curious to hear your thought process on this one.

If you look, for the past month and a half it has been in this large range from $9.25 to $11.25. He has owned it and sold it many times waiting for the breakout, and with the breakout being so big with a HUGE pocket above and in a range for so long, it shouldn’t take long at ALL for it to fill that gap, especially with teh volume this thing has today… just my 2 cents, but yes you are right, not a “typical” spot where you buy way below the breakout…
Like the action in Social, Looks constructive and may allow some better entry points
maybe instead of SOCL (social), bear trap reversal in PGJ (china momo), both look about the same but china has more follow through today YOKU and QIHU popped, but not BIDU and SINA

Thoughts on AAPL? Looks good for a move… which way, not sure. But last time IV was this low was right before the Icahn tweet.

On a one year time frame maybe… but you go out 5 years and there’s actually a lot of overhead heading right into 22.

OA – JASO
I’m in a strange position with this (JASO). The original trade was long Nov 11’s which you got out of. I got into Nov 12’s which finally came back in the money this morning. Candidly JASO and VMW were at the top of my “concern” list coming into the week – that said, I’m sitting on a a 40% gain on JASO at the moment. Since I had already over-reached on the call price, I figured 12 was an agressive target. Now I’m in a quandry over what to do with my trade plan.
look at a response he said to my question earlier in the comments… he says to wait it out a few days and maybe move those to Dec’s to grab the full move on this breakout.
I did read that – the difference is (at least the way I read it) is that you were trying to reclaim SOME premium and I had actually fulfilled my trade plan and was profitable, hence I need to treat it as a “new trade”. Maybe I misunderstood ?
ABTL OA, would you mind taking a look at this. It seems to fit your criteria of a very long base with volume pockets above. Good earnings last week created recent volume and price increase.
Yes it does. If possible, try to buy into weakness. Start some if you need to and average down.
Its frustrating to watch JASO go up while my calls are still not worth very much…. hmm
