The reaction by Walmart’s stock since the sharp and sudden February sell-off (on news of an executive describing February sales as a “total disaster”) speaks volumes here. As I wrote at the time, the stock longer-term was still quite constructive. Let it be a lesson to you and me both going forward, that in a bull run breakdowns are often shakedowns until the real deal bear actually comes along.
