Two Conditions for Long/Short Entry

Nothing has changed, and I won’t be trading until my conditions are met:

1) Long: healthy, low volume pullback and successful bounce off of support for entry.
2) Short: initial breakdown on stronger volume and a weak bear flag for entry.

I am making investments in several non stock market related ventures and they have occupied my time more than I have anticipated. In addition, I am finalizing everything for my 10-day vacation in Cancún, Quintana Roo, Mexico (coming up in 10 days). I deserve one anyway. As a result, I have not traded for many, many days, nor do I plan on doing so until one of the above two conditions are met. That is all.

I’m not leaving yet, but just putting out there in case people are wondering why I’m not as involved recently.

Oh yea, I’ll take some recommendations from those that have been down there before.

Oh yea, if you have a blog that isn’t too full of shit, and would like me to add it to my link sidebar, then let me know.

I am almost finished copying my links from my WeeklyTA blog to here. As I continually build it up, it should become the largest link database available anywhere for traders.

I really enjoy your charts and explanations.

By the way have a great time in Cancun, I just got back less than a month ago and still have not been able to get back to being all HYPED UP….it does a body good.

If you are going to any of the RIUs you’ll be pleased.

Just enjoy yourself and those around you.

I think my website is not full of shit, mind taking a look at it to see if it fits the link sidebar criteria?

    Thanks,

You do not think the pullback of yesterday is on low volume?

Pullbacks can take one day or several days.

The only ammunition I’m going to pack are the ones in my balls.

I am liking this set up that’s forming.

mucho – I found this clothing line in Mexico that sells regular clothes that are bulletproof, so you don’t need a vest. I’m talking about normal looking jackets and shirts with some kind of bulletproof material weaved into the thread. The jacket costs $4,000.

Short? The PPT came in at the last hour and squeezed. Fortunately, I used a buy stop.

Are you saying short setups are coming soon?

I love Cancun although it can be expensive. A very good friend of mine works in the hotel business there. Xcaret is definitely worth spending a day. Have a great time!

    Chart,

I have to second that on Xcaret! It’s about 40 or so miles from Cancun but it’s worth a day trip.

I’ve been 4 times – wife and I cruise 3-4 times/year and we’ve been all over the place – this is without a doubt one of the top sea life/water parks in the world. They have Mayan ruins, underground caves, natural lazy river, REAL swimming with dolphins (they’ll push you across the pool if you are lucky – not legal in the US – the dolphins get really excited so don’t feel bad for them).

And you can not miss the outdoor restaurant by the dolphin swim for an unreal view (although the food is not as good as it was a few years ago).

Also, try not to miss the flying man dance, they only do it 2 or 3 times a day.

After Xcaret, if you have the time, Playa del Carmen is worth a stop. It is about 10 minutes away from Xcaret on the way back to Cancun. Ask to be brought to the pier (by the ferry to Cozumel) and you can walk down 5th Ave. (la quinta). Plenty of good retaurants, bars, stores. Playa is by far one of the best cruise ports in the Caribbean. At one point they had a really nice restaurant built in a monster-size tree but I’m not sure that made it through the hurricane a couple years ago – it was closed for repairs last year.

BTW – No need for the bullet proof clothes in the tourist areas BUT, if you go to the beach, don’t leave your shit unattended. Some local kids earn a living by taking your bags/shoes/clothes while you are in the water – VERY common on the more public beaches and good luck with la policia.

Have a great vacation but don’t forget about the S&P (sun & p???? that is).
