Get a look at this. It is a thing of beauty, getting ready to come out of a downtrend. They don’t do exactly what OII does, but they are in the same offshore oil and gas service business.

I am a Bad Man…
July 16, 2013
These guys are the ones that go in and build then install platforms for the oil and gas companies. They also lay the pipelines, remove old platforms, etc. Basically they are an offshore oil and gas infrastructure company. Not saying that’s good or bad, but that is the difference between them and what is usually thought of as an oil and gas service company.
If you’re looking for a company like SLB, BHI, WFT, NOV, etc. this ain’t it. Again, nothing against these guys just pointing out the difference even though they are lumped in the same industry.
Disclosure: I know nothing about GLBL (and a lot of other things).
Hugo, you know everything about oil. You’ve got enough of it!
This is a pure service company. Thanks for the summation…
Hmm, you might be onto something here…
ya think the downside has been wrung out? I’ve got another good one in CreateCoin Premium that looks very similar and does more deep water stuff…
That be HLX?
PGSVY is another good one ….
This looks like a nice sleeper stock ready to go. Sorta kinda like SDRL
I DO NOT expect GLBL to grow revenue and earnings like SDRL has, but it has already had a huge move off the lows…I am interested in the ones that are just beginning…
For some reason my chart looks so much different from yours…
I noticed my original chart also looked a little different. For examply when drawing the down trendline from Sept 09 to present, the peak in April 10 poked above the trendline. Then I turned off log scale and the peak went back below the trendline. Looks much more like Scott’s chart without the log scale.
