$5-10 Setups (Examples)

Here are some examples of setups that I look for when I do my nightly scans. Tonight, I chose to look at the $5-10 range with 1MM+ volume.
There are a variety of things that I look for. For example, BLC is a stock that will test the Oct highs. INCY broke the Sep highs and is consolidating in a flag. MTW is a dual support play. NYT is a potential late sym tri breakout. TTWO is a breakaway gap down stabilization play. VVTV is a multi-month breakout and consolidation play. DTG is a classic flag pattern testing two MA’s.
I’ve been watchin’ BLC for some time myself, waiting for that BO over $6.20 … you got any target?
Looking for $8 then $10 longer term … but I suppose you will day trade rather than swing or hold.
Needs to breakout first before I decide on anything.
Today I sold the remainder of my CENX and then bought some DRWI. Also sold my TRMA and CRZO. Now scavenging for new longs.

Where do you put your stop right now on HEAT? Do you consider the resistance of 16.50 and want a close above the upper trendline of the pennant or above 16.50?

Should the s&p close above its previous close of 1110.63, would that constitute a breakout and a potential swing trade?
After the big merger news got absorbed, CA fell asleep due to lack of volume and market movement.

Thanks for posting the examples and actually stating what you do to find trades. Its like I am reading a trader’s diary. Its like looking over your shoulder as you work. As you are lead, keep in mind to share any other trading examples/practices you do . Thanks allot for taking the time and helping traders like me that are still learning. You are the greatest!!!!
