Paul Tudor Jones, the hedge fund billionaire, told an audience of University of Virginia students, alumni and others that it is difficult for mothers to be successful traders because connecting with a child is a focus “killer.” As long as women continue having children, he said, the industry is likely to be dominated by men.

“As soon as that baby’s lips touched that girl’s bosom, forget it,”

  1. I think Paul Tudor Jones is similar to Ted Turner, in the sense they are both intelligent and successful, and frequently just say what they think. I can’t be angry at either of them for that.

btw- did anyone see the details of the Maryland property Paul Tudor Jones had for sale a couple years ago? Wow, what a place. His horses enjoyed better accommodations than many national chain hotels provide.

Oddly enough, all that wealth and acreage, yet the main house was not waterfront, more like marsh front.

I actually ROFL how Julian and the other guy leaned as far away as possible as he said all of this. I loved the 10,000 rep part..yes it was sexist, but I would argue new fathers or any distraction can mess you up.
