So many investors and traders are busy trying to find “what is working now”. But chances are what is up today is finished going higher.
Sometimes it takes a low volatility idea, with both fundamental and technical drivers, to win the day, all the while maintaining a low-risk profile. LLL has been just such an idea. Here is a chart update from January of this year. The stock is currently trading above $86, a 23% gain.

Six months is nothing…that darn Copper Bubble has been over 2 year wait…amazed how bubbles act.

With Chinese having living rooms full of Cotton and Garages full of Copper…it has “Beanie Baby” written all over it. Has all the classic pieces of a Bubble, btw notice it topped in Feb when LME hit 10,000. Also, BTW, besides the Clam pushed into a corner with that pop in Core inflation and beat on the NFP two months ago and unable to drop money…there was a Nice drop in Flash PMI China, France, etc last night. ..

My only concern is the 2008 consolidation, as well as a few other quarterly “congestion” areas. Being an options trader (cough-cough), I’m uncertain how to play such well delineated idea, great ideas, as usual, Scott.
