11 I am blessed, I am lucky and I am thankful. I was able to tuck two of my children into bed last night, while my wife took duties at the hospital with the third. The parents of those twenty innocent children were not as fortunate. They felt the agony and despair of looking into an empty room; a painful reminder of what a madman is capable of. With this grief and the unbearable weight of burying your own child, these parents are now the victims of the insanely, overdramatic media and the insensitivity of politicians with their egos’ believing they can stop such tragedy.
The traitors that run the modern bureaucratic state consider themselves more like architects of a rational society and believe they can govern our reality comprehensively so everyone is included. This type of thinking leads to authoritative government and defies human nature. The framers of the constitution understood this line of reasoning and implemented divisions on government to provide checks to limit the institution for this reason. James Madison wrote specifically about the 2nd Amendment in Federalist Paper #46, in which he made it clear that the right of the citizenry to bear arms is a necessity against tyranny and is an integral part of the system of checks and balances. Granted, semi-automatic rifles were not invented then but to propose a ban on ALL guns is a direct attempt to exert a means of control over the population and limit the systems of checks and balances.
The mass shootings that have occurred over the last several years are extremely horrifying and tragic events. As humans, we need reasons and justifications for such treacherous acts of violence, whether it be to place blame on the availability of guns or the lack of quality parenting at home. We rarely look at ourselves as possibly the issue. How do we value human life? How do we treat are neighbors? Do we help the less fortunate? We can debate all we want whether this is a gun control or mental illness issue but the reality is, like I said here, we live in a very unsafe and cruel world. That is why I have my CCW, plain and simple and this is why we cannot let our own government take away the 2nd Amendment:
I do not know what can prevent such tragedies like Sandy Hook but usually the initial response is the wrong one.

Automatic weapons are illegal to own without special permits. Semi-automatic weapons can be owned by citizens. I own an AR 14 that is a semi-auto gun that will fire up to 30 rounds depending on the clip. At present, I hope that I do not have to use this weapon on any human. However, I want to continue with my right to own it.

No media will report this. This is not a negative comment about the deaths of innocent people, but a question of how this could be possible.
