- Medifast (MED) – despite good earnings, stock has sold off after hours yesterday. Hoping to go long after the panic has subsided. With a giant P/E of 63 this stock could fall below $13. Do people actual eat this crap? I’d rather have a Jamba Juice (SVI).
- eDiets.com (DIET) – sometimes I wonder how these niche internet companies make money (I’ll save the Knot.com bashing for another post). They report in the morning.

The answer to that question is…
… no one! I couldn’t believe how light the buying was after reporting earnings that looked extremely good today. The best bid on Inet at that particular time was $1.20. A friend of mine has been accumulating this stock, but based on the price volatility over the past few months, and dry bidding like this, this stock can be easily manipulated up or down. Not my kind of stock. But I guess this kind of volatility comes with investing in these small cap Chinese companies. What do investors want anyway? 200% growth?
