It’s the biggest game of the year. Who are you guys putting your money on? You already know my money lies with the LSU Tigers as Alabama has yet to see a defense this frightful. I believe Alabama is favored by 13.5 even with the game being played in Tiger Stadium aka Death Valley.
Ten years ago, I got married to my wife on the day Nick Saban got his first shot coaching against LSU for Alabama. I remember my wife asking me sometime in April what day I wanted to get married. I told her, “baby, it doesn’t matter, whatever makes you happy.” BIG MISTAKE. Invitations went out shortly thereafter and I immediately started getting calls from family members asking me if I was mentally challenged.
I told the wife we had to change the date, but she refused, the invitations were already sent. I told her we had to have a TV at the reception, she said NO. She lost, a TV was there. We had a great time, and LSU lost in overtime by a field goal. She still hates LSU to this day. And, I still love her to this day. Let’s geaux tigers, WE COMING…

RC, great story but as I always tell my buddies “check the schedule.” As an Michigan State fan, another school that Saban up and left, we have a unique bond. I don’t see Bama covering the line, that’s a big a spread at Death Valley. If you’re the Tigers, your hope is to keep this game within \-7 at halftime, and then Devin White can be brought in with the game in tact.
Stadium will explode after halftime. Bama better score early & often
If Bama doesn’t score early, the phrase all bets are off is totally applicable.

Hilarious! I’ve been at more than a handful of weddings where they had to put the Ducks game on at the reception too. So funny.
My wife was happy to see LSU shut out.
As a Dawg fan, my heart was with LSU.
But I know how good Bama is.
I took Bama -14 and when I saw how inept the LSU offense was and how many plays the Tiger defense was on the field, I tripled down at halftime, Bama -7.
Won both bets, tho the 2nd half bet was lucky, what with Bama’s missed PAT, LSU’s missed FG and that garbage time INT in the end zone.
Now Dawgs have to play Bama in ATL. Would have preferred to rematch LSU.
Tigers gave Bama the best game this year tho. Orgeron and Aranda schemed them well, just as they did the Dawgs.
Next year.
And fall weddings suck.
