$TSLA, Tesla was trading higher in after hours immediately following the release of quarterly numbers. However, things got pretty heavy on the conference call as Elon dismisses a few key questions. He sounded pretty baked on the call if you ask me, and a few traders noted the same thing. Indeed, it was good fun.
Here are some notes from the call, the stock is currently down 6% after-hours:
If you have never taken part in a Tesla call, it is worth your time. Magic shit happens… air friction, strange snorts, assumed bong rips, and general lunacy. https://t.co/mcyMGm7BlP

$TSLA This is one of those ones where the conference call just makes it worse #tesla pic.twitter.com/NDu0b6xw4j

$TSLA – Musk going after the press, shutting down callers, and losing his mind. Great call!

$TSLA is plummeting in response to a rude dismissal of a Gross Margin Question by Elon as boring. I think Elon is unhinged. It was $309 an hour ago now $286. This is epic but not in a good way.

A millennial whose holdings consist of 54 $TSLA shares plus some crypto dominates the call, while Musk gives the back of his hand to analysts, who might have asked about why negative working capital more than doubled to -$2.3B. https://t.co/C7G5Gtr5vA

listening to $tsla conference call on cell. Elon totally lost his mind…. completely no idea what he's doing here on the call.

Dan, he is high. He sounds like he smoked some bowls and came on the call. $TSLA

I can't believe what I just heard. This is an embarrassment to the capital markets. $TSLA

Elon showing why so many great entrepreneurs don’t go public.
