I feel this is another scenario like last year where it makes sense to seek out some earnings plays.
On my radar have been $TDC $CVRR and $BOFI.
Ideally, you pitch in a few candidates that I can scoff at or cherry pick.
The prerequisites: good patter, good profile, cheap premium.
That said, any ideas?

My analysis says enterprise spending has really picked up. I would go for mid/small cap enterprise software names – SPLK, TEAM, NTNX, etc. HDP reported a beat but COO leaving puts a damper on guidance is my guess.

Oh, I definitely love the stock and own a good amount. But the profile is actually looking quite nice. Seems like it’s playing out the sentiment chart, figured it might be a good one for everyone to look at.
HCLP looks interesting, though haven’t followed it in a while and have no idea what’s going on. That profile on CVRR is so tempting.

It would probably be a good idea to go through our volume pocket list at the start of every earnings season. We’d isolate one of the “P’s” right off the bat.
I just breezed through the ones I sent in for the project (easiest for me to find), and am interested in both $AINV and $GPT. Both look pretty good. They are both in slower industries, but you can get them with almost no time value attached, even out to September.

Fuck you, I didn’t vote, oil is range trading for christ sake. I just got back from off shore and all rigs are pumping 24x7x365. No one is going to blink and slack off production but keep hoping.
