Uh not really. Lin pwned him the first time around, and Lin still had a really nice game this time. Almost all of Dwilliams shooting was from the outside. He’s a great player, no doubt, but this can hardly be “blamed” on Lin. Lin looks like the real deal.
I don’t know, giving up 38 and “having a really nice game” are usually exclusive of one another. You do realize that basketball is played on both ends of the court, right?

I’ll take “giving up 38” every time if D williams is attempting 12 3-pointers a game, because chances are you win more games than you lose in that scenario. Lucky games happen even to great players. A 10-12 game in 3-pointers is the definition of unsustainable, so a regression to the mean translates to probably winning that game most times even if your team shat a brick (which I figured they would with Carmelo back now for the first time and disrupting the offense). And on D you want to force outside shots. Lin looks like the real deal.
