And so the spin on oil, whereby all news leads to higher prices, continues.
Has it ever occured to these people that by Europe refusing to purchase Iranian oil, they are basically forcing Iran to sell all oil to the Chinese. Couldn’t the Chinese just as easily game Iran’s situation, forcing them to sell oil at much cheaper levels.
And China’s displaced oil demand could then trick back to Europe cheaper.
It won’t necessarily happen that way, but God damn am I sick of hearing how every little stirring in the world just absolutely means that oil prices go up, up, up.
Forcing Iran to sell oil at lower price is the strategy for the oil embargo (less revenue for Iran).
Cain’
it also will make political ties stronger.
oil to $150
