Isn’t this the whole point of the exercise? To give them the freedom to choose. Unfortunately people aren’t quick to forget past wrongs. Freedom to choose to hate America ftw.
Oh yeah cause America really “wronged” Libyans! Are you serious? They are not quick or slow to forget anything. They are Arabs and when you give them the choice they choose Islam. It’s not rocket science.
And of course Islam is not friendly to the infidels in its teachings, thus why Islamic regimes align with groups like Al Qaeda and Muslim Brotherhood. It’s really not hard to figure out. But somehow you find a way to blame America for what they choose? The American mistake is to worship democracy to such an extent that they feel they have to go around the world spreading it to everyone else. That’s a very dangerous game when the recipients will use democracy to wipe out the infidels.
It’s really a variation of the flag of Jihad, which was embraced and modified by Al Qaeda. The circle Either way, the flag is a declaration of war against the infidels!
I’m not sure what the white circle underneath means, as that wasn’t on the original Jihad flag. Could be the representation of the seal of Muhammad.
Ah, medieval savages…when will they catch up to the modern era?
I meant wrongs to include perceived wrongs.I have never been to the middle east so can’t say first hand, but it is my impression many resent America’s involvement in the region. Practising Islam by no means involves hating America or the American way of life, but certainly militant Islam does tend to lean that way. I remember reading that many foreign fighters went to Libya to fight for the rebels, and certainly those are largely Jihadists that are not fond of America. Some will stay and form who knows what in the aftermath.
This isn’t exactly going as planned.
Crude to $150!
Not a good thing for sure leftc’
