Gold has acted very weird today. Yes it gapped up, but it hasn’t exactly been a pillar of strength as equities sold off. Respecting the almighty dollar I suppose, but if so, why gap up in the first place? Continued oversold bounce?
possibly tonka…i think shorts may be trying to cover and thus the gap up…people still need liquidity so perhaps it has problems moving significantly higher as investors and governments grab that liquidity. not worried for the longterm
