Lol, Fitch is as fucking scared of downgrading the U.S. as everyone else is scared that they might do it.
Is it possible that debt ceiling is increased and still some crooked agency still downgrades the US debt because of its “quality” or “amount” or because the agency wants to show the world that its cojones are bigger than anyone in the world?

It’s possible that someone will try to make a name for themselves, but like Europe I’m sure they won’t acknowledge it until all the major agencies downgrade them.
I agree with Mr Thaler. No one wants to be the one to pull the plug and potentially cause a forced liquidation on the worlds largest form of collateral.
