Bullshit. There is not one shred of evidence to support this propaganda.

I hear talk from a friend who works in the solar industry about how “grid parity” without subsidies is probably no more than 5 years off.

You are all cavemen. We need to get past oil one way or another. Fuck these oil companies

      I so agree.

And I think most people would, most americans. The problem is marketing.

When someone hears an anti-oil message, its usually from a crazed beady-eyed liberal telling them how to live and what and when to do it. So in a way, I think alot of the current anti-oil mojo backfires.

Change the message. Just put up posters of a guy in a turban and say “forget global warming, every gallon of gas you burn sends $2 of yorus to this man, is that what you want?” and tactics like that and you could get somewhere very easily.

The militant liberals, enviro-loons foremost among them, create division and … they are just the wrong people to bring messages.

Still have the problem of efficiency and infrastructure, all of which weigh heavily in favor of the carbon-fuel model. Let price lead the way, and keep the politics out of it.
