$1800 Gold?

cuervo

+++++++++++++++++++++

I was off all day doing God’s work, so I won’t go into any elaboration. I did take a swing low trade of  EDC and ERX, just for shitz and gigs.

As those developed I was up over 2%again today.   Still I am wary.  Gold is continuing to grind up and silver is somewhat lagging.  I can only takes so much, but I’ll be sure to let you know when that tipping point arrives.

In the meantime, this is an excellent time to join The PPT, if you haven’t already.  You will see my action a lot quicker there than you will here.  Don’t be pennywise and pound foolish… step up to The PPT.

    Gold is more expensive than platinum right now. Worth it to trim some at these frothy levels.

    God’s work; Do tell?

    You know how I loves god: 😛
    ” You people of your kind (human beings) of Earth, think of the time when you were still without belief connected to the real truth, and were not far from the truth; therefore return yourselves to that condition when you were not led astray by a delusional belief, but were connected to the truth of Creation and did not pray to a god.”

    Gold is overextended. I think everyone knows that. The problem is that the gold bugs believe gold can never correct. That’s a dangerous game to play. 10% correction in the cards. Probably won’t happen today, but this weak opening is foretelling what is about to happen.

    I am putting my DZZ play back on today.

    Try Cuervo’s Reserva de Familia Anejo sometime. 1800 is garbage.

      I always prefered the Herradura Reposado, but I haven’t had any for years.

        Herradura Anejo is better than reposado, IMO. Anejo will always have more flavor and spend more time in the barrel. You can buy it at any liquor store.

        My favorite bottle right now is a homemade moonshine raicilla I brought back from Jalisco.

          Not really a big fan of tequila but I hear the whiter the better. I just used the 1800 as a reference to the recent gold price.

            I realize that. I’m just offering a quick education to gentlemen who should know how to select fine mezcals and tequilas. American marketing keeps white men ignorant of the joys of fine mezcals.

            All mezcals are handmade. Mostly all tequilas are made in a factory and are made from the blue agave cactus.

            Since mezcals are hand-cratfed by artisans, the flavor is better than tequila. When the flavor is better, you want more age in the oak barrels (former merlot barrels) so that it becomes more smooth and flavorful. The better mezcals are better than most high-end scotch brands and they cost significantly less.

            Other similar brews that you will never hear about again are sotols and raicillas. Both are hard to find, made with a different agave cactus, are handmade, and are generally superior to most tequilas and many mezcals.

            To suggest that blanco (white) tequilas are the better ones is pure marketing. The best blanco are called tobalas and they are a type of mezcal. They taste nothing like Patron and they are very addictive once you grow accustomed to them.

    It’s exhausting listening to doom and gloomers. I allowed myself to be swamped in their negativity. It doesn’t suit my soul. I get that the economy is screwed. I understand that social insurrection is hip and happening. I realize that the West is in decline and no amount of taxation and economic growth can repay the debts on the books…and those that aren’t. But dammit, this shit can’t go down forever.

    I deployed some cash this morning. In no way do I suggest anyone think that I know what the hell I am doing. I nibbled at Disney despite the GS downgrade. I love Disney and it makes my kids happy. I believe in the oil and gas growth story despite a slowing economy and doubled down on my mega-loser UPL. It could be acquired and is worth far more than current price. I bought SLB and BHI. Do you really think that oil and gas are doomed? Like we are all going to be driving around in solar powered boxes? Love those stocks. I drew lines on the screen a couple of months ago and wished every day they would come down. They did and I hesitated. Why? I didn’t yesterday. And added more today. Since the Fed is driving the bus to Equityville and leaving CDCashville in the rear view then I decided I needed to add yield. Hello 5% OZM.

    I bought some AUY on Jake’s $14 recommendation a week or so ago. I’m not exactly unhappy at doubling into the $13s when I had a chance.

    I’m still 60% cash. I am not a trader. The last few months, at least, has proven this. But I need to make reasonable investments (Wiki if you don’t understand that word) to make my way to retirement. Sitting out the market will not work. The Fed is not allowing you to save. Blasting away at ultra shorty shorts and trying to time ultra long ETFs and looking at the daily shift of the market is simply going to blow my mind. You know, there are some good companies worth investing in. Even in the depression there were companies your grandpa wishes he bought.

    This rant is dedicated to all those fuckers who are simply trying to figure out how to make some money for retirement or college or a better future. Not everyone can be, or wants to be, traders. But plenty of us want to make money and are getting blasted and whipsawed in this market. I’m simply trying to find my way here as a small time operator trying to get bigger without losing. There is too much information being sprayed. If you are anything like me your head is going to explode and you, like me, are going to make horrible short-term decisions when long-term decisions are really what the focus could be. I know buy and hold is supposedly dead but… really..are you going to buy a business and the first sign of decline sell it? I know it’s not that easy but, and it’s how I want to look at it, buying shares of a company can be an honorable thing and not just a gunslinger’s drink.

    Sorry, who the fuck am I to preach when I know nothing really? Just venting my thoughts. It actually helps to get it out.

    Looking for a continued sell off here in gold. I like it in the low 1500’s (assuming the fundies are still intact which they likely will be).

        BTW – -I just looked at the chart (15 min intervals) and don’t know what the problem is. It pulled back to support and bounced there.

        Do you use charts?

    Well done, Jake. Just killing it.

    This time of year, I quite enjoy the tequila in moderation, btw.

    Problem is, I do not ever seem to “do” the tequila in moderation. {sigh}

      Luckily, the only hard liquor I enjoy is bourbon.

      Good thing there’s not a lot of that around here.

    To start buying and selling in the Forex market you will have to open an account with a broker. There are a big, even overwhelming, selection of brokers available on the internet. To pick the fitting broker your self you need to be ready to spend a while doing some research. This will likely help you keep in mind the other products and services available from various agents as well as their charges and fee structures.-`
