Look at that, the 20-day EMA looks like it was the spot, no? SLW is also roaring to life again, but then, I don’t have to tell you that…

One more precious metal pick– outside of the silver realm– that I checked out today since Le Fly was mentioning palladium in The PPT. Looks like our pal, PAL is seemingly off to the races, perhaps permanantly here… Look at this weekly:

I feel like major inflation is right around the corner. I think food price spikes will be the trigger.
Once people believe that prices tomorrow will be higher than today and they will run to the stores like a huge snow storm was forecast.
Here’s all we need to convince them (in combination):
1) Food prices start spiking
2) Gasoline prices spiking
3) Gold, silver, spiking
We’re not there, but could get there quickly with just a hop, skip and a jump.
Food price increases will be coming to a store near you soon.
Food prices have already started ramping. I am starting to look at food producers who are raising prices on their end products right now.

Its not just food prices, it is also package size. I just watched a program on all the decreases in boxed and bagged item sizes. They’re trying to also be sneaky about it!
They’ve been doing that for years… Notice how much smaller candy bars have become? That’s the big tell… that and cereal boxes.
