Just kidding, no one is allowed to do anything. Plus anyway, I’m here in NC where we watch a BBQ rib turn on the grill to usher in the New Year.
It was a hard year for everyone, but at least we made a fuckload of meaningless paper money, eh? Deaths in the family, depression running rampant, freedoms restricted, yet money wasn’t anything to worry about because stocks soared to record highs and cryptos exploded even higher.
No predictions for 2021. They’re always wrong. Within the next year I expect to change my mind a million times about the market. That’s my super hero power.
I’m closing out the year with gains I could only dream of before, even greater than what I did during the dot com era. My trading changed drastically thanks to the tools I created in Stocklabs, which will launch within weeks. I promise. I daytrade mostly now and I haven’t looked at a chart in months, not even once. There’s no need when trading algorithms.
But it was an extremely accommodative year and I’d be naive to believe I was unique in being able to trade well. All of the members of Exodus brought their A game in 2020. We fought thru the mud and guts, stared into the black abyss and then ate sandwiches and bought SPACs. It was a most retarded year.

Had a great year thanks to the Fly and all the other excellent traders who frequent the chat room daily. These guys know how to make money. Unlike most of the empty suits you find on TV, the Fly posts his gains and losses real time. Admits when he is wrong, cuts losses decisively. Fly is a master tape reader. He is quick to catch on to themes and find profitable ways to exploit them. It’s one of the few places left online where free expression is allowed. Enjoyable discussions about multiple topics other than trading which are always enlightening .
There are a number of amazing traders in exodus and stocklabs sounds like a big improvement as Fly and RC have been giving us 20% daily movers on a regular basis gleamed from the SL toolset. Can’t wait to get it.
2020 — what a year. iBC and Exodus kept me sane. I wish I had joined Exodus and the fine folks in the PR sooner. Exodus/StockLabs has tools for the novice and expert trader alike. Fuck a Bloomberg Terminal, all you need is EXODUS/(STOCKLABS).
Walked into this trade room a clown, came out much less of a clown and learned a lot. 10/10 would recommend.

Started in PR this year and have survived. For new traders, its tough, but the level of experience in the room who regularly post trades, make getting a feel for things easier. Celebrating 1 year in the PR and have made good money, learned a lot and found something of a process. Looking forward to much more with StockLabs! Recently upgraded from monthly to a 6 month subscription.

I joined Exodus about 3 months ago, and in a couple of words fun and fantastic. The tools and data within Exodus are very good and allow you to peruse historical data that I’ve not seen anywhere else.
The Pelican Room is an interesting and unique place. It’s full of people that work in the industry that know their stuff and how to play this game. The education potential from these people is enormous for a new trader. It’s also full of engaging personalities with witty banter and @Fly insulting us day in and day out.
Rating 9.8 out of 10 because of some user experience things that I don’t personally love. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
I was coerced to write this review under threat of being arrested by the resident “Brute Squad” of Exodus and potential Twitter ban from following @Fly’s escapades on social media.
Seriously though, it’s awesome. It’s the best $500 you’ll ever spend.
What Dr. Fly has created with his tools is nothing short of pure SHOMP. Without it I may have been poor in 2020 with measly double digit returns like some lowly member of r/investing. Instead the tools and traders blessed me with triple digits. If you need your ego checked by a room of polymaths and want to watch in awe as someone does >100% returns in a month in size (not I, I was the one watching) with as pure of transparency you can find, then come join. Or stay poor in 2021.
Came into the room in March looking for Drug stocks and promptly watched @PPT melt down. Was compelled to stay. Looking forward to the launch of the orbital cannon and Stock Labs. Waiting for another FTP moment and a PR member looses their shit and is triggered to the point of leaving and being immortalized in the IBC Dictionary.

Not just the fact that I have used it to make enough money in a week to pay for years of the service, but I would pay this money just to be part of the Pelican Room…… Just to sit there and read the comments…. i have been a PR member since 2011. The FLY is truly a Space Alien Magician. The room adds a lot of value with ideas and lots of LOLz. The Fly, Ragin, and others bring their “A” game everyday. If you want to be fed fish, and learn at the same time this is your place. The price of admission is well worth it.

I’m not sure how you can begin to appropriately quantify the value offered here. If you’re considering whether or not to spend $500 on a sub, don’t think- just click the button. I haven’t been able to find a suite of tools like this -and that’s separate from the ideation that happens in the community of the Pelican Room. For someone like me that was an investor but never actively traded, the *real time* education is invaluable. I’m not sure how else you could learn the appropriate rhythms/strategies & more importantly how to mitigate risk & costly mistakes other than by doing- and that’s what Exodus offers you…the chance to learn, do & profit. Thank you to Fly & company.
PR/Exodus saved my chit for 2020, many trading ideas and algo data to rifle through. After getting poleaxed in March, took a few months off trading to reset and get over my disgust. Will be up close to 18% for calendar year after having been down about that much earlier on in Spring. Swing trading mostly. Granted, paltry returns compared to many, but I haven’t perfected day trading and usually avoid it due to other commitments and not being able to sit in front of a trading screen in my underwear doing lines of coke like a proper day trader.
2020+1 will suck as bad as 2020 did for the economy, employment, mental health and society. Doesn’t mean coin cannot be banked though, as we’ve seen this year. Masks forever! All hail the Fauci Demigod and Sleepy Joe’s helicopter $. Half the people that haven’t lost their minds already will lose it in 2020+1. The Schadenfreude will be to die for…
I have been in and out of Exodus for years but only started trading daily this year, and more specifically during the last few months. I still have only the most basic grasp but it hasn’t mattered: the PR has attracted a refined cast – traders with all manners of experience, bankrolls and specialties, people with varying tastes – and the fish have been incredible. Coin is banked. Most of the members are also funny as hell. Egos are checked at the door and noobs are taken seriously.
What I imagine it’s like being on a basketball court with Lebron James…. intimidating, humbling, awe inspiring. Watching some real professionals bank enormous coin, learning a ton about the market while tagging along and getting better everyday. Also pretty damn entertaining. Thanks for all the fish.
I’ve been a member for a few years now and their is a lot of great trading talent in the PR room. Great convos and they will give you great advice of what to do and what not to do. Simply put don’t hesitate on the membership just join and watch greatness.

I’ve been trading for several years and have grown as a trader by using exodus tools and chatting/learning from the other pelicans. I would now feel nakedTrading without exodus and couldn’t have accelerated my learning curve without it. Thanks for a great 2020 y’all. I enjoyed the bigly gains and camaraderie.

I am not tech-savvy and have been working full time so as not using stock screening. But I love the community it helps me keep my sanity and perspective. GLT and best wishes for a successful new year.
Joined exodus in March after being a longtime reader. Took me awhile to figure out what was going in there. There are all types of traders in there that you can learn from by watching what they say and do. Don’t expect any hand holding though or trade babysitting. You can just sit back and eat fish served up by fly and do well for yourself as long as your poor trading habits don’t get in the way. I like to trade the fish served up daily and other ideas shared in there. Best thing to know is to keep position sizes to 5% unless instructed otherwise, and cut losers at -10%. Lots of ideas always being floated around. Also usually some good banter in there during most parts of the day(especially by the gentleman named guided) from all walks of life. As long as you aren’t the sensitive type, it is a added bonus during covid times.
Fly has built a great institutional quality quant toolset but for the active trader the chat is the place to be – if you need a place to share or kick around new ideas this is the place for you. Populated by some really great personalities and traders from all walks of life I promise you will leave a better active investor than you started, with some coin in your pocket to prove it. Highly recommended, FTP.
To do good in 2020 all you had to do was buy call options on almost any stock/etf after March and sit back drinking fine scotch while your trading account doubled or tripled in value. Easiest year ever.
Had never purchased a stock prior to joining Exodus in July of 2020; closed the year up 20% and a full inch taller. 11/10
I am a useless baby bird. Exodus is my warm nest. Fly is my cold and distant bird mother, occasionally regurgitating some greasy stock pick down my throat. This relationship served me well in 2020. I’m looking forward to Stocklabs in 2021. Eventually a raccoon will eat me. Fly will be indifferent.

I joined Exodus back in April 2012. I was able to really start trading daily in late 2019. I follow Fly in 99% of his trades. In March 2020 I followed his “cash up in trading accounts and go all in quick day trades” plan. It was a crazy time period with AH and PM trading (who needs sleep really?) but I did very well and it was a *fantastic* decision. My 2 main trading accounts are up 175% each for the year. I was able to regularly sweep cash off the table and into my long term accounts and cash savings. And buy a few fun things 🙂
I truly enjoy the daily banter (and insults 🙂 ) in the Pelican Room and the traders in there are awesome!

The Exodus tools are unique and very useful, as is the commentary inside the Pelican Room from the many pro traders. Also, when I joined my cock size was an average 5 inches and now its about 10, which was a great added benefit from being a member.

In the mean time, hanging out in the PR has been great, and the Fly provided enough fish to me to pay for the subscription and then some. I joined Exodus after following Fly’s blogs musings for about a year. I am a novice trader and make very limited use of the advance tools on offer, however the price of admission is worthwhile if only for the Pelican Room. The Pelican Room is filled with traders with all kinds of backgrounds which has been a great resource for validating my own trades and investment theses. Results speak for themselves, I’ve paid for the price of subscription many times over simply by following Dr. Fly’s trades without understanding why or how and my long term accounts have never been in better shape. Looking forward to Stocklabs and the new screeners which seem to allow Dr Fly to print money at will.
