It can be argued that the very worst time to roll out a vaccine is when the virus spreading as it is now. The more virus there is out there, the more opportunity for the many trillions of virus particles to mutate into something which is both resistant to the vaccines and more deadly.
Cheap saliva self-testing at home to see if you’re shedding virus is 99% accurate and has been successfully used in countries where the pols and the media aren’t reptilian whores. We should look to stem the spread with self-testing, tell people to get in shape, and maybe take vitamin D3 (especially if you have dark skin). And take the time to do further tests on these vaccines.

I’m guessing you didn’t understand my post. People with dark skin, on average, have lower vitamin D levels than whites. Educate yourself on studies which have associated low vitamin D levels with significantly worse outcomes when they contact the virus.

Some vaccines were grown in pigs or other animals. Retroviruses not found in humans but found in the pigs, etc. were mistakenly transferred in vaccines to humans. Ooops. Retroviruses are suspected in various syndromes and AIDS.

Quite frankly, I was more interested in seeing if Roger Maris or Micky Mantle would break Babe Ruth’s HR record.
I’ve known of eight people that tested positive for this virus. All under 60 years and I would presume with no other co-morbidty issues. No obesity, one could lose 20 lbs or so, one with “high sugar” as he calls it. Flu-like symtoms for a week in all cases. I’ll pass on the vaccine.

Never had the flu shot as I haven’t gotten the flu in over 30 years and have had maybe 3 or 4 mild colds total in those 30 years.
I have recently had the shingles vaccine and the Tdap vaccine (to see the Grankids when they were babies) and I am still here in good health to the dismay of my tennis opponents.
