Keurig has gone from 0% share a few years ago to 17% of the coffee maker market. Unlike CROX, Keurig’s will not be sold in Chinese rip off shops for $5.
The key here is recurring revenue. Once you buy it, you will need to constantly replenish with new K-cups. They make .12 per every K-Cup sold.
Espresso is top notch. No instant coffee machine can compete with that. Keep in mind, this coffee brews within 15 seconds.

There was a 1-hour show dedicated to the Keurig on QVC over the weekend – I watched the 1st 10 minutes out of curiousity and there were apparently “record breaking” number of calls w/ in minutes (about 4,000 within minutes) – nuts, if true. The machine looks great though, also makes tea, hot cocoa, boils water w/ in 10 sec for oatmeal, etc.
