Sunday Evening at Chess Cinemas

I was out with the iBC crew and Dr. Phil Pearlman of Stocktwits last night for the annual dinner, enjoying my birthday, so here is a belated version of “Saturday Night at Chess Cinemas.”

Get Low (2009) did not get too much attention when it was released, but I think that is to the great loss of many. Starring Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, and Sissy Spacek, the film is a gripping period piece set in 1930’s Tennessee, filled with dark humor and deep character development.

    chess … I loved that movie !

    Who wouldn’t want to plan their own funeral …
    … and then be there to witness it !

    The “backstory” is also pretty compelling !

    Good quirky lil film !
