SPOOKED: Co-Founder Of Trump-Russia Dossier Firm Cancels Testimony While Lynch Claims Ignorance

It appears that the ongoing efforts to bring down Donald Trump are unraveling at an accelerating pace…

After it was revealed that Rob Goldstone – the man who arranged the now infamous Trump Jr. “setup” with a shady Russian attorney, is associated with Fusion GPS – the firm behind the largely discredited 35 page Trump-Russia dossier, the co-founder of Fusion GPS has abruptly canceled his appearance before the Senate Judiciary Committee next week to testify in the ongoing probe into Russian influence in the 2016 election, according to Politico.

On Wednesday, the committee announced that Glenn Simpson, co-founder of Fusion GPS, was scheduled to voluntarily testify.

During the 2016 US election, Simpson’s firm hired former British spy Christopher Steele to produce the 35 page dossier, accusing then-candidate Donald Trump of all sorts of salacious dealings with Russians. When Steele couldn’t verify it’s claims, the FBI refused to pay him $50,000 for the report – which didn’t stop John McCain from hand-delivering it to former FBI director James Comey, or the Obama Administration from using it to start spying on Trump associate Carter Page.

And now, per Trump’s outside legal counsel Mark Corallo, Fusion GPS is also connected to yet another attempt to take down the Trumps. As the Independent reported on Monday:

A spokesman for the President’s legal team told The Independent they now believed Ms Veselnitskaya and her colleagues had misrepresented who they were and who they worked for.

“Specifically, we have learned that the person who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS, a firm which according to public reports, was retained by Democratic operatives to develop opposition research on the President and which commissioned the phony Steele dossier.” -Mark Corallo

Perhaps sensing he’s totally fucked and now a huge liability to the deep state, Simpson canceled his appearance.

Loretta Lynch Knows Nothing

After it was revealed that Loretta Lynch’s DOJ allowed shady Russian attorney Natalia Veselnitskaya into the U.S. under “extraordinary circumstances,” President Trump quoted a report from The Hill at a press conference during his visit to France.

She [Veselnitskaya] was here because of Lynch.

“Nothing happened from the meeting… Zero happened from the meeting, and honestly I think the press made a big deal over something that many people would do.” –Donald Trump

Lynch distanced herself in a Thursday statement, with a spokesperson claiming that the former Attorney General “does not have any personal knowledge of Ms. Veselnitskaya’s travel.”

The spokesperson did not go into detail about Veselnitskaya’s case, but followed up by saying “The State Department issues visas, and the Department of Homeland Security oversees entry to the United States at airports.”

After Lynch’s DOJ allowed Veselnitskaya into the country to participate in a lawsuit and nothing more, she had the now infamous meeting at Trump tower, met with current and former lawmakers from both parties, and was spotted in primo front-row seating at a House Foreign Affairs committee hearing on Russia.

What an interesting trip for Ms. Veselnitskaya…

A well known Republican donor and GOP political operative from Chicago who was hunting for Hillary Clinton’s missing emails was found dead in a Minnesota hotel room with a suicide note that said “NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER.”

Days earlier, Peter W. Smith, 81, a wealthy financier known for his GOP opposition research – had given an interview to the Wall Street Journal about his efforts to track down Clinton’s emails through Russian hackers. Smith assembled a team, which considered retired Lt. Gen Michael Flynn an ally, and he told the Journal that he and his team found five groups of hackers – two of them Russian – who claimed to have Clinton’s missing emails. 

When Smith died on May 14th, the lead reporter on the WSJ story said on his podcast that he had no reason to believe the death was suspicious and that Smith likely had died of natural causes.

The Chicago Tribune, however, obtained Smith’s death certificate that says otherwise:

Smith committed suicide in a hotel near the Mayo Clinic at 1:17 p.m. on Sunday, May 14. He was found with a bag over his head with a source of helium attached. A medical examiner’s report gives the same account, without specifying the time, and a report from Rochester police further details his suicide.

In the note recovered by police, Smith apologized to authorities and said that “NO FOUL PLAY WHATSOEVER” was involved in his death. He wrote that he was taking his own life because of a “RECENT BAD TURN IN HEALTH SINCE JANUARY, 2017” and timing related “TO LIFE INSURANCE OF $5 MILLION EXPIRING.”

According to police, Smith also told a man at his hotel “Tomorrow is my last day,” while he printed documents in the business center between 8 and 9 pm on May 13.

Thorn in Clinton’s side

Smith has a long history of digging up dirt on democrats – focusing much of his efforts on Bill Clinton’s misdeeds, including “Troopergate” allegations of sexual misconduct by Clinton – then Governer of Arkansas. Smith also financed a probe of a 1969 trip Bill Clinton took to the Soviet Union while in college, according to salon magazine.

The suicide

Recrods show that Smith’s death occurred at the Aspen Suites in Rochester, MN where he was likely visiting a doctor at the Mayo clinic. According to the Chicago Tribune, one of Smith’s employees thought the GOP financier had been undergoing treatment for a heart condition.

Smith was found with a bag over his head filled with helium attached to a tank, and a suicide note was found:

Helium gas has become a popular method of suicide, as it is painless. The Florida nonprofit “Final Exit Network” provides information and support to people suffering from a terminal illness who would like to commit suicide. Their book “Final Exit” by Derek Humphrey explains the helium gas method in detail.

Police found a receipt from a local Walmart from the day before Smith died for the purchase of “Helium Jumbo” and other items, however because no foul play was suspected, surveillance tapes proving Smith bought the helium were not sought.

Final blog posts

According to the Chicago Tribune, Smith wrote two blog posts the day before his death. One challenged U.S. intel agency findings that Russia interfered in the 2016 election. The second post predicted “As attention turns to international affairs, as it will shortly, the Russian interference story will die of it’s own weight.”

On Tuesday, Gorka appeared on CNN with Alisyn Camerota, where he tossed a few truth grenades over their ratings.

Then on Wednesday, Gorka appeared on Anderson Cooper 360 to discuss Trump Jr’s meeting which was likely designed to set up the Trump team and is blowing up in their faces…

Gorka called the idea that there is a “bunker mentality” or “crisis” about this week’s Donald Jr. news in the White House “laughable,” stating: “We are pushing the Make America Great Again agenda. The president is a steam locomotive that will not be stopped. It’s just fake news. I’m sad to see CNN fall to this. I know you want salacious, sensational coverage for your ratings, so your corporate sponsors and owners will have more money. But that’s not media, that’s not reportage, it’s just fake news.

Gorka went on to tell Cooper that “The story only exists – it only has legs – because the Fake News Industrial Complex is obsessed. Nine months of accusations with zero evidence of anything actually illegal!”

Cooper had a few snarky comebacks which Gorka batted away before proceeding to deliver yet another “he broke me” moment for the beleaguered Very Fake News network.

“It is not about you… It is about actually having journalism back on TV. Where are the Walter Cronkites? It is all about ratings and money, it is really quite sad.”

Gorka destroys CNN: 

It’s appearing more and more that the Russian lawyer who met with Trump Jr. was some sort of a honeypot operation intended to ensnare the Trump team in scandal. The Hill’s Jon Solomon and Jonathan Easley have just come out with a bombshell: Natalia Veselnitskaya, who infiltrated the Trump team for a nothingburger meeting – was initially denied entry into the United States, only to be reversed by Loretta Lynch’s DOJ under “extraordinary circumstances.” 

As the Hill Notes: “this revelation means it was the Obama Justice Department that enabled the newest and most intriguing figure in the Russia-Trump investigation to enter the country without a visa.”

The Moscow lawyer had been turned down for a visa to enter the U.S. lawfully but then was granted special immigration parole by then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch for the limited purpose of helping a company owned by Russian businessman Denis Katsyv, her client, defend itself against a Justice Department asset forfeiture case in federal court in New York City.

“That’s a discretionary act that the statute allows the Attorney General to do in extraordinary circumstances. In this case, we did that so that Mr. Katsyv could testify. And we made the further accommodation of allowing his Russian lawyer into the country to assist,” –Asst. U.S. Atty Paul Monteleoni

Five days after the meeting at Trump Tower with Trump Jr., Jared Kushner, and then Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort, the DOJ lost track of Veselnitskaya – who was hobnobbing around Washington.

As The Gateway Pundit and Conservative Treehouse report, Veselnitskaya was pictured in the front row at a House Foreign Affairs Committee meeting on June 14th, 2016 behind the anti-Russia-Russian US Ambassador, Michael McFaul- just five days after the reported meeting with Trump Jr.

It should be noted that Ambassador McFaul was very publicly discussing the ‘Muh Russia’ conspiracy narrative in the media and appeared on numerous NBC and MSNBC broadcasts during the 2016 campaign, and immediately after the election.

Additionally, it was Michael McFaul who was the architect of the Obama/Clinton “Russian Reset”, that eventually led McFaul to becoming the Ambassador to Russia (NYT Link).

The Hill also reports that Veselnitskaya also helped arrange an event at the Newseum in Washington, D.C. where pro-Russian supporters showed a movie that challenged the underpinnings of the U.S. human rights law known as the Magnitysky Act, which Russian leader Vladimir Putin has reviled and tried to reverse. About 80 people, including congressional staffers and State Department employees attended the viewing at the Newseum.

Veselnitskaya also attended a dinner with the chairman of the House subcommittee overseeing Russia policy, Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) and roughly 20 other guests at a dinner club frequented by Republicans.

NONE OF THIS has anything to do with the reason the DOJ granted Veselnitskaya entry under extraordinary circumstances – to defend a client in court.

Justice Department and State Department officials could not immediately explain how the Russian lawyer was still in the country in June for the meeting with Donald Trump Jr. and the events in Washington D.C.

Busted Narrative

Recall that the left’s entire narrative about the Trump Jr. meeting was that  Natalia Veselnitskaya was a Moscow operative… who was denied entry into the United States and overruled by Loretta Lynch’s DOJ to be allowed in under “extraordinary circumstances.”

So either the Obama administration knowingly let a Kremlin agent into the country before she met with government officials, attended a congressional hearing, and tried to set up Donald Trump Jr. – or she’s simply a lawyer/lobbyist doing her job – whose meeting with Trump just happened to be the probable basis for the June FISA requests on the Trump team.

Shia LaBeouf, who apparently reverts into a full wigger accent when drunk, brought out his inner racist after being arrested in Savannah, GA over the weekend – telling a black cop that he’s going “straight to hell… especially because you’re black.”

A convicted felon in New Mexico was in the middle of beating his girlfriend, when he accidentally called the cops on himself through the household’s Amazon Alexa device. After threatening his girlfriend, who is not named – Eduardo Barros, 28, allegedly asked “Did you call the sherriffs?”

Amazon Alexa sprang to action – recognizing Barros’ question as a command, and using the connected landline to phone a Bernallillo County Sherriff’s Department 911 operator.

Barros kicked his girlfriend at least 10 times in the face and stomach after becoming suspicious she was cheating on him because of a text message she received.

“Barros told her she was not going anywhere and he was going to kill her,” according to an arrest warrant affidavit obtained by The Post. “When 911 called her phone, Barros saw the caller ID and threw [her] to the floor. Barros then kicked her while on the ground at least 10 times in the face and stomach. Barros told [the victim] he could not believe the cops had been called and he was not going back to prison and that she knew he was a felon. [The victim] stated she thought she was going to be killed or shot.” – NY Post

Police who arrived on the scene were able to rescue the woman and her daughter. The woman suffered minor injuries and was not hospitalized, and the daughter was not harmed according to Deputy Felicia Romero.

Barros was taken into custody by a crisis negotiation team along with SWAT, and was ordered held without bail on charges including aggrevated battery, false imprisonment, and possession of a firearm.

“The unexpected use of this new technology to contact emergency services has possibly helped save a life,” Bernalillo County Sheriff Manuel Gonzales III told ABC News. “This amazing technology definitely helped save a mother and her child from a very violent situation.” – NY Post

FISA Timeline

Recall that the Dept. of Justice drew up the original FISA application to surveil the team, which was rejected outright by the court. The second application – written more narrowly, was denied in July. Finally – three weeks before the election on October 15th, the order was finally granted for three of Trump’s associates – ostensibly the three who were in the meeting with Natalia Veselnitskaya – Trump Jr., Trump advisor  Jared Kushner, and former campaign manager Paul Manafort.

Here’s the plot:

Denied Visa

Natalia Veselnitskaya was denied an entry visa into the United States in 2016, only to be overruled by a NY Court so she could participate in an lawsuit opposite fired US Attorney Preet Bharara, which the U.S. District Court of New York later granted on appeal. Why was her entry initially denied?

The Washington Post suggested the person was Rob Goldstone, a music publicist and personal friend of Don Jr. Don Jr. has neither confirmed nor denied Goldstone’s involvement.

Whoever the acquaintance was, subsequent reporting by Circa News said that members of the President’s legal team have confirmed that the acquaintance “who sought the meeting is associated with Fusion GPS.”

In closing – Why would a Russian attorney who hates Donald Trump and has ties to the ‘pissgate’ dossier firm, Fusion GPS, agree to provide Trump Jr. with opposition research on Hillary Clinton unless it was a setup?

I missed the time conservatives beat up a homeless black woman for supporting Hillary, or sending one to the hospital, or assaulting someone with a flagpole, or a Hillary hat.

I must have slept in the day Trump supporters kidnapped a liberal – torturing him, threatening to kill him, and then only getting caught when a neighbor called the cops.

I haven’t seen all those reports of conservative kids beating up kids from Hillary families for their political views.

In fact, it seems like the exact opposite is true!

On to Tucker’s Dojo

“Naila,” a representative of the Antifa Haymaker Collective went on Tucker Carlson Tonight where she explained that the gym was set up so liberals don’t have to feel “frightened, and isolated, and alone” when it comes to all of the hate crimes they’re worried about.

After her impassioned intro, Tucker proceeded to use facts and logic to pierce Naila’s thinly supported veil of delusion about crime in her hometown of Chicago – rendering her unable to answer simple questions and sending the liberated hijab wearing warrior into a head-swiveling self-righteous rage:

Tucker:  I just sort of wonder if you’re concern isn’t misplaced. I mean, Chicago is a really dangerous place. I think you’ve had about 2,000 shootings so far just this year. I don’t think any of them are perpetrated by right wingers that I know of – or Trump supporters… any of them. So maybe you’ve got other things to worry about?

Naila: Well, according to statistics, we do have something to worry about. The Cato institute records that the vast majority of violent extremism comes from white right wing nationalists. We also know that according to statistics, 80% of deadly terrorist incidents that happen within the United States are perpetuated by people who feel that other bodies, other people, don’t belong.

Tucker: I don’t want to interrupt you, but those are totally made up statistics – you should spend some time looking at them.

Tucker refocuses on crime in Chicago, when Naila then let the FOX host know she’s afraid to ride the bus, “because just may 26th in Portland on the light rail, there were two black women who were approached and confronted by a white man who calls himself a patriot. Three other white men came to those two womens’ defense, and they were stabbed in the neck and two of them died.”

Tucker replied, “I saw the story, it was an awful story – but I’m just saying, in the city that you live in… you’ve had 2,000 shootings and none of them were by Trump supporters. That doesn’t bother you, but a stabbing on a train in Portland, Oregon is the reason you’re a afraid to ride the train in Chicago. It seems a little bit disassociated.”

Guns, Guns, Guns! 

Tucker then brought up private gun ownership, since the Chicago Haymaker collective was established in the name of self-defense. Naila can’t seem to grasp that guns are a particularly effective way to defend one’s self – stammering around and mechanically looping back to the fact that the Haymaker “project” was established for people to learn hand-to-hand combat.

Tucker: Guns are more effective than karate chops, so I’m just sort of wondering where you are on the gun thing.

Naila: On the question of guns, we don’t really have an answer. We need to learn the responses physically to respond to some of these incidents that are happening. The question for me, again, is not on people shooting me with guns. The question is incidents like Nabra Hassannen who was murdered while she was walking from her Mosque in Washington D.C. 

Tucker: Was she killed by a Trump supporter? Oh, I thought she was killed by an illegal alien, wasn’t she?

Naila: She was killed by a man who decided to go after her with a bat.

Tucker: Oh yeah, that was not a Trump supporter actually – that was an illegal alien. Bad example, I’m sure there are others.

In it’s ongoing temper tantrum over losing the election, the vapid left has now latched onto a meeting between Donald Trump Jr. and a Russian lawyer. The lawyer, according to Trump Jr., promised damaging information on Hillary Clinton. When she had no goods to deliver and started talking about an adoption program, the meeting ended and the guy who set it up apologized to Trump.

Once this came out, Trump Jr. offered to meet with congressional investigators to clear the air.

But Muh Emailz

The latest from the New York Times is that three anonymous sources now say that Trump Jr. took the meeting knowing that the source of the purported information was the Kremlin – despite the guy who wrote the email denying it.

So a Russian attorney met with Trump Jr. promising info that could damage Hillary Clinton – just like Clinton did with a Ukrainian advisor – and liberal heads everywhere are exploding.

 But Mr. Goldstone, who wrote the email over a year ago, denied any knowledge of involvement by the Russian government in the matter, saying that never dawned on him. “Never, never ever,” he said. Later, after the email was described to The Times, efforts to reach him for further comment were unsuccessful.

In the interview, he said it was his understanding that Ms. Veselnitskaya was simply a “private citizen” for whom Mr. Agalarov wanted to do a favor. He also said he did not know whether Mr. Agalarov’s father, Aras Agalarov, a Moscow real estate tycoon known to be close to President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia, was involved. The elder Mr. Agalarov and the younger Mr. Trump worked together to bring a Trump Tower to Moscow, but the project never got off the ground.

Mr. Goldstone also said his recollection of the meeting largely tracked with the account given by the president’s son, as outlined in the Sunday statement Mr. Trump issued in response to a Times story on the June 2016 meeting.

Which means, that the New York Times found three sources who claim that the man who actually wrote the email is lying about the email he wrote, and that the president’s son is also lying, and that (given the Kremlin was involved) the Russian government was clueless as there was no actionable information (Trump Kr walked out of the meeting). Unless, of course, the Kremlin was never involved in the first place, especially since nothing ever came out of the meeting, and Trump senior was likewise never involved, in which case it would merely come down to Goldstone boasting about his non-existent connections.”

During last week’s G20 meeting in Hamburg, Germany, Ivanka Trump “briefly” sat in for her father during a meeting with global leaders on African migration and health.

The 35 year former businesswoman and fashion model sat at the table with Xi Jinping, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Angela Merkel, and Theresa May.

A spokesman for Ivanka Trump told Bloomberg that she had been sitting in the back of the room and then briefly joined the main table when the president stepped out of the meeting on African migration and health.

Naturally, the left freaked out.

The current administration’s detractors quickly got to work denouncing the sit-in as nepotism, attacking Ivanka’s credentials.

Maxine Waters told MSNBC: “It does not make good sense. Here you have the president of the United States at the G20, representing us as the leader of the free world, and so he’s going to play politics and give his daughter a chance to have a place in the sun and to be seen at a very important meeting that she knows nothing about.

She cannot in any way deal with those members who are there representing those countries. She doesn’t know anything about these issues.”

Wow – so a woman represents the United States at the G20 on African migration and health issues and the left, which is full of so-called feminists, can’t stand it…

Meanwhile, Merkel’s got Ivanka’s back

Angela Merkel commented on Ivanka’s presence during the meeting, stating: “The delegations themselves decide, should the president not be present for a meeting, who will then take over and sit in the chair…

Ivanka Trump was part and parcel of the American delegation so that is something that other delegations also do. It’s very well known that she works at the White House and is also engaged in certain initiatives.”
