Analysis: Lt. Gen. Michael Flynn Offered Role As Trump’s National Security Advisor

In an expected move, Trump campaign advisor Lieutenant General Michael T. Flynn (retired) has been offered a role as Trump’s national security advisor. 57 year old Flynn, a registered Democrat who headed up Obama’s Defense Intelligence Agency, has been a frequent presence at Trump rallies along the campaign trail. If he accepts the position (he will), Flynn will bring a massive amount of experience dealing with foreign conflict and intelligence.

Pros:

• Vast experience gained through leadership roles in Iraq and Afghanistan, but, is on record as having called Iraq a “huge error.”

“As brutal as Saddam Hussein was, it was a mistake to just eliminate him,” Flynn went on to say. “The same is true for Moammar Gadhafi and for Libya, which is now a failed state. The historic lesson is that it was a strategic failure to go into Iraq. History will not be and should not be kind with that decision.” –Spiegel.de

• Impressive background dealing with intelligence and in particular, how to deal with information overload and integrate new methods of communication into decision making.

• Understands that Islamic Terror is a serious threat. Not afraid to say it, and was reportedly forced out of Obama’s Defense Intelligence Agency over voicing his concerns.

• Believes the USA and Russia should collaborate to fight Islamic terror.

Cons:

• Controversy: in 2015, as a private citizen, Flynn attended a gala dinner in Moscow for RT – the Russian owned English-language news outlet on which he was a frequent analyst.

• Flynn Intel Group has been paid to provide analysis on world affairs to a Turkish businessman, however Flynn told the Wall St. Journal:

“If I return to government service, my relationship with my company will be severed in accordance with the policy announced by President-elect Trump.”

Trump announced this week that he wouldn’t allow registered lobbyists to work for his transition team, and from everything I have read about Flynn, I would expect him to honor his pledge.

This is making the rounds. A user on Reddit has been investigating another potential Clinton-linked murder. Let me start by saying the whole child trafficking #Pizzagate story goes really deep and is multi-faceted. It truly deserves it’s own post (to come), but for now, we have a mysterious death which may be connected. Earlier this week, Monica Petersen – research fellow at the Human Trafficking Center – died under suspicious circumstances while investigating child trafficking in Haiti. Her friends and family are shocked and are not receiving any answers, and some of them are discussing mounting a trip to Haiti to investigate. Recall just two weeks ago that Wikileaks exposed Hillary Clinton’s links to Haitian child trafficker Laura Silsby who was caught trying to smuggle 33 children out of the country.

“Monica Petersen was in Haiti working for the Human Trafficking Center and also previously worked for the Colorado Human Trafficking Council’s Data & Research Task Force.

She died a few days ago under suspicious circumstances. Her friends on Facebook are looking for answers. Several close friends have made mentions on various FB posts that friends and family have no clear understanding of what happened to Monica except that she died on Sunday.” –/u/rutkdn

That’s kind of a strange comment on the “stupid & imperialist concept” of rescuing people, however Social Anthropologists are big on observation as opposed to intervention. Perhaps Petersen was also aware that many groups claiming to rescue children may in fact be fronts for child trafficking.

In January of 2016, Petersen shared a blog post on Facebook critical of Hillary’s dealings in Haiti:

While the details surrounding Petersen’s death are scant at this point, the fact remains that Hillary Clinton was closely tied to a huge child trafficker in Haiti, and a woman investigating child trafficking in Haiti just died under mysterious / unknown circumstances. People have even been suggesting that Tony Rodham, Hillary’s brother, is tied in through his shady Haitian gold mining operation (right click and open in new tab or save, picture too big), however that is a bit further down the rabbit hole than even I am willing to go (for now).

Brought to you by the generation that can’t hear negative things, Twitter announced yesterday that they had deployed measures to curb cyber-bullying after their platform’s free flow of information led to a mass awakening. For any bright eyed, helicopter parented, therapy dog owning millennial out there who might stumble on opposing views from outside their safe space, Twitter has supercharged the “Mute” option to allow users to block tweets based on keywords, phrases, and the content of a conversation.

Here’s Twitter’s opening salvo in operation Make America Sheep Again, in which they address the rampant cyber-bullying epidemic and let us know about their hateful conduct policy. Tragic. I guess there were just too many victims triggered by truth after learning about racist hate crimes that don’t fit the narrative.

24 Hours Later, Twitter is initiating a “major purge of prominent accounts associated with the alt-right,” says the Daily Caller.

One of the first and most prominent accounts caught up in the deletion is Richard Spencer, president and director of the National Policy Institute, an alt-right think tank focused on white identity and related policy issues.

Twitter removed Spencer’s verified account, formerly available at @RichardBSpencer, Tuesday evening.

“This is corporate Stalinism,” Richard Spencer told The Daily Caller News Foundation. “Twitter is trying to airbrush the Alt Right out of existence. They’re clearly afraid. They will fail!”

Not only did Twitter kill Spencer’s personal account, but Twitter also suspended the National Policy Institute’s official account (@npiamerica) and its online magazine (@RadixJournal), in addition to a separate book publishing company run by Spencer called Washington Summit Publishers (@washsummit).

The ban took place the same day Spencer appeared on NPR and The Daily Show.

Between the supercharged mute button and the purge of accounts espousing opposing views, Peter Pan syndrome should be alive and well for some time. Good job @Jack Dorsey, you’re fighting the good fight for your masters, keeping everybody feeling nice and safe.

Today on 4chan, an anonymous user who claims to be in the same industry as Matt Harrigan, the just-resigned CEO of PacketSled who threatened to kill Trump with a sniper rifle, went so deep down the rabbit hole it’s going to blow your mind. I could not locate the thread so it may have been deleted – however, you will find a photo of the post below.

Here are the highlights:

• Matthew Brian Harrigan, Now ex-CEO of PacketSled, isn’t just some random guy on the internet. He has tons of connections within the intelligence community, and is himself a fairly well known figure in security circles.
• Three weeks ago Harrigan was pictured hanging out with Jim Woolsey, former head of the CIA.
• Harrigan owns another company in the same Del Mar, CA building as PacketSled called Critical Assets, which, per a 2013 post by an anonymous user is “nothing but a scam and front for the Department of Defense to steal network security and network forensics source code and IP and pass it under the table to the US Government.”
• Harrigan visited the white house on 4/16/2015
• “It’s been known for a long time in this industry that Matt is an intelligence asset.”
• The board of PacketSled is interesting (I’ll let you read about that)

Does Harrigan belong to a network of like minded and capable individuals who share a dislike of Trump?

In what is quickly becoming the season of Orange wins, shares of Home Depot are up moderately in pre-market trading (basically recouping yesterday’s sell-off) as the retail giant posted earnings of $1.60/share on sales of $23.2 billion, topping analysts’ expectations of $1.58 / $23.05 billion. The lads at Home Depot also reaffirmed their full-year guidance and upped their 2016 earnings forecast. Same store sales were up 5.5% year/year (4.4% est.), and comparable sales were up 5.9%.

From a seasonality perspective,  found inside of Exodus, Home Depot has been up an average of 6.1% in November, 80% of the time (using 35 months of data). Of note, HD is already up 6.16% month-to-date. December’s stats are less reliable, with an average return of 5.63%, just 67% of the time, and January is consistently flat.

That said, don’t forget to factor in all the latent testosterone President Trump will unlock inside men across America. Decks will be stained, drywall will be patched, carpets will be torn up, beards will get paint on them as hipsters take on all the projects daddy Trump inspire them to complete. Three days ago, Reuters broke the news that Jamie Dimon had been directly contacted by the Trump campaign to run the Treasury. The headline, which remains in their original tweet, was “Trump team contacted JPMorgan’s Dimon for Treasury role” (here’s a screenshot in case they delete it).

A senior person on President-elect Donald Trump’s transition team contacted JPMorgan Chase & Co Chief Executive Jamie Dimon to see if he would be interested in being U.S. Treasury secretary, a person familiar with the matter said on Thursday.

It is unclear how Dimon responded, said the person, who was not authorized to speak publicly. Dimon has said multiple times in the past that he is not interested in the job – most recently in September.

While doing research to follow up, I discovered that exactly FOUR hours and 30 minutes after breaking the Dimon story, Reuters sent out a NEW tweet with a totally different headline and article (which was regurgitated on Fortune’s website).

I found a copy of the original article as it was slapped up on RawStory before the change. Note how author Dan Freed, former Senior Writer for TheStreet.com, goes on to point out that while Trump was critical of Wall Street, his closest advisors include “several hedge fund executives, investors and former bankers.” BURN!

The next day, Reuters tweets some stupid interactive “Economic Dream Team” thing which no longer lets you choose Dimon, to let it be known that Jeb Hensarling is a serious contender for the role. Click the link in the tweet below and check it out.

I wonder what happened? Perhaps old men in wood paneled rooms at the House of Morgan had their butler hand the oldest one a still operational antique telephone for an angry call to Reuters? Was Dan Freed madly re-writing the article on his iPhone from the Reuters bathroom while taking a panic shit? If so, let’s not be mad at Dan for what was likely a direct order from someone who drives a much nicer car. A tin foil thought though; What if Dan wrote the first version to make it look like Trump sold out to the establishment, and that angry phone call was from one of Donald Trump’s lawyers?

Whatever the case, Reuters’ dramatic shift in tone from the original article is both stunning and journalistically dishonest.

Long gone are the days when Donald Trump was telling the GOP to get fucked. Old wounds, such as the Grand Old Party utterly rejecting Trump and trying to meddle with obscure delegate rules (Colorado / Arkansas) to find a way around having to eat a Trump cake, have been healed. Along with picking Priebus, Breitbart’s Steve Bannon – Trump’s campaign chairman, will be one of Trump’s senior strategists – a move sure to rub RINOs the wrong way (weasely bitch Paul Ryan hates Bannon). I like the Bannon pick. Not only is he’s going to be able to run interference on establishment tactics to coopt Trump,  he can probably phone the tip line at Breitbart to call bullshit on stories that would otherwise go unreported by the entire fucking MSM syndicate that actively campaigned against Trump.

In tonight’s episode of 60 Minutes, President Elect Trump provides further insight into the mechanics of his highly controversial immigration policy, pledging to immediately round up and deport 2 – 3 million undocumented criminals upon taking office in January. Per CBS:

“What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million, we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate,” Trump said in an interview with CBS’ “60 Minutes.” “But we’re getting them out of our country, they’re here illegally.”

Perhaps in an effort to quell violence and fear stoked by paid #SorosRiots, Trump is also taking a “wait and see” approach on the rest of his immigration policy.

after the border is “secure,” immigration officials will begin to make a “determination” about the remaining undocumented immigrants in the U.S.

Trump’s immigration declarations face several hurdles; legal, logistical, and human rights. During a conversation yesterday with iBC reader “Trader Confessions,” I suggested The Don might back away from his hard line campaign trail rhetoric:

The problem Trump faces is minorities who are afraid right now, and other minorities who see that and can identify with feeling persecuted and fucked with by authority. You can’t just start ripping families apart and kicking people out of the country. Really bad optics, and could spark a race war for reals. My bet is that Trump is going to compromise on his immigration platform within the next month (week, if he’s smart), granting “extra close watch” amnesty to illegals with adorable doe eyed kids and their non-violent family members living with them. Then he’ll appease his base by rolling out operation “Safe Neighborhood Watch” where task forces go kick down doors to haul away illegal bachelors and gang members in major cities. Trump will make a public spectacle of busing them down to Honduras or something, and I’m sure he’ll notify all of the appropriate drug lords in advance.

Looks like Trump is doing both; Law and Order for undocumented criminals, while softening his rhetoric to a “wait and see” on the rest of his immigration policy.
