Evil White Chicks Shutter Portland Burrito Stand After ‘Cultural Appropriation’ Witch Hunt

Two enterprising Portland women who opened up a Burrito stand have been run out of business after being mercilessly witch-hunted for ‘cultural appropriation,’ according to the Daily Wire. Friends Kali Wilgus and Liz “LC” Connelly traveled as far as Mexico to learn how to make a perfect burrito.

“I picked the brains of every tortilla lady there in the worst broken Spanish ever, and they showed me a little of what they did,” said Connelly. “They told us the basic ingredients, and we saw them moving and stretching the dough similar to how pizza makers do before rolling it out with rolling pins.” –Daily Wire

After they cracked the code and created a menu, Kali and LC opened a tiny weekend business – Kook’s Burritos. Reviews were fantastic, until local liberal news outlets got whiff of the white women’s little research expedition to Mexico. Several articles were published by SJW’s losing their shit over two white women daring to serve ‘non-white’ food.

“Because of Portland’s underlying racism, the people who rightly own these traditions and cultures that exist are already treated poorly. These appropriating businesses are erasing and exploiting their already marginalized identities for the purpose of profit and praise,” accused The Portland Mercury.

“People of color are nothing more than an afterthought when the white perpetrators of this tradition continue to do this on a regular basis. While Portland is supposedly a progressive place, super liberal white people usually only have other super white liberal people to answer to — which means this cycle of cultural appropriation will never end until people of color call attention to it”

Aaaaand they’re closed.

This is why you should just make food named after yourself like Jeff Goldblum.

The question is, why did they shut down? Is it because these ladies are also progressives and they felt they were in the wrong? Or maybe business dried up and the pressure was too much for them.

Anyways, mind blown reading about this. The show Portlandia needs to poke fun at this.

The best part is, the SJW who wrote that article is a black woman married to a white man. Either she’s appropriating white culture or he’s appropriating black culture. She should only be allowed to do black things. Build a wall around every culture. White people shouldn’t even be allowed to eat mexican food. Pork chops and applesauce all the way.

I live in PDX. I’ve gone out of my way to get “authentic” food at the Mercado food carts, and it was fucking horrible. Current go to place is Stella Taco- Austin style tacos. Talk about appropriation.

    I’m from PDX,
Lupe’s Escape in Aloha is easily the best Mexican food in the Portland area(.)

If you like spicy, go for the Tijuana Torpedo with chili Colorado meat.
