Hours after the assassination of Russia’s ambassador in the Turkish capital of Ankara, a gunman approached the US Embassy directly across the street, pulled a pump-action shotgun out of his coat, and fired into the air approximately 8 times. The man was subdued by security guards and taken into custody.
I’m surprised he’s still drawing breath as the embassy is undoubtedly on red alert right now and not fucking around.
No one was hurt in the incident which occurred hours after a Turkish policeman, appearing to condemn Russia’s military role in Syria, fatally shot Russian Ambassador Andrei Karlov in front of a shocked gathering at a photo exhibit. The embassy said its missions in Ankara, Istanbul and the southern city of Adana would be “closed for normal operations on Tuesday.” –usnews
Reports of shooting near US Embassy Ankara, #Turkey– US citizens advised to avoid Embassy area until further notice.
President-elect Trump issued statements regarding today’s series of terrorist attacks; the first being the assassination of the Russian diplomat to Turkey, the second in Berlin, when a Pakistani refugee killed 12 people and injured 48 after driving into a crowd of holiday shoppers, and the third took place in Zurich after a shooting in a mosque.
Today there were terror attacks in Turkey, Switzerland and Germany – and it is only getting worse. The civilized world must change thinking!
Trump’s official tweet was followed official statements regarding the Turkey and Berlin attacks:
Let that sink in:
Islamic terrorists continually slaughter Christians in their communities and places of worships as part of the global jihad…
…These terrorists and their regional and worldwide networks must be eradicated from the face of the earth…
Bold and refreshing language from the man who will be president of the United States in a month. Trump also acknowledges Christians shopping for Christmas without censoring his language to be “inclusive” or politically correct. Sure is nice to have a president with a pair of balls. Mad Dog Mattis is gonna be one busy bringer of death if this is Trump’s opening salvo in his war on terror.
Reports are rolling in that the mayor of Ankara – the city in which the Russian diplomat to Turkey was assassinated today – has linked the assassin to the Gulen Movement, started by Turkish President’s arch-rival and self-exiled Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen. This is strange considering Gulen and his movement are nonviolent progressive Muslims who are proponents of peace, technology, and democracy, while his arch rival Turkish president Erdogan is a free-speech hating despot who has cracked down on all forms of dissent since the Turkish “coup” attempt in an. Reuters and The Express report [emphasis mine]:
“[the] Assailant is a policeman. According to what I have heard, he is a FETO member. The slogans of the assailant are just perception management.”
In the aftermath of the comments Turkey analyst Ilhan Tanir tweeted: “Ankara Mayor just spoke and accuses “FETO” a.k.a Gulen Gr as an actor behind assassination, claiming just like shooting down Russian plane”.
Turhan Ozen, head of the UK’s Union of European Turkish Democrats (UETD), also believed Gulen could be behind the horrifying attack.
He told Express.co.uk: “Gulen or serious mental problems is the only explanation I can think of.”
“Every day something is happening. It must be a concerted effort to destabilise the country and possible try another coup at the end.” –Express.co.uk
Note the statement: “The slogans of the assailant are just perception management.”
In other words: even though the assassin went on a passionate rant in the name of anti-Assad Syrians, the mayor of Ankara has – with no evidence – linked him to Turkish president Erdogan’s arch political rival, currently in self-imposed exile in Pennsylvania at this house:
Erdogan accused Gülen of having a hand in his (definitely not staged) “coup,” however these rumors were disproven:
In 2005, a man affiliated with the Gülen movement approached U.S. Ambassador to Turkey Eric S. Edelman during a party in Istanbul and handed him an envelope containing a document supposedly detailing plans for an imminent coup against the government by the Turkish military. However, the documents were soon found to be forgeries. Gülen affiliates claim the movement is “civic” in nature and that it does not have political aspirations. -Wikipedia
Primer on Gülen:
Muhammet Fethullah Gülen (Turkish: [fetuɫˈɫɑh ɟyˈlen]; born 27 April 1941) is a Turkish preacher, former imam, writer, and political figure. He is the founder of the Gülen movement (known as Hizmet meaning service in Turkish), and the inspiration figure for its largest organization, the Alliance for Shared Values. He currently lives in self-imposed exile in the United States, residing in Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania.
Gülen teaches a Hanafi version of Islam, deriving from Sunni Muslim scholar Said Nursî’s teachings. Gülen has stated that he believes in science, interfaith dialogue among the People of the Book, and multi-party democracy. He has initiated such dialogue with the Vatican and some Jewish organizations.
Gülen is actively involved in the societal debate concerning the future of the Turkish state, and Islam in the modern world. He has been described in the English-language media as an imam “who promotes a tolerant Islam which emphasises altruism, hard work and education” and as “one of the world’s most important Muslim figures.”
Gülen was an ally of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan before 2013. The alliance was destroyed after the 2013 corruption investigations in Turkey. Erdogan accused Gülen of being behind the corruption investigations. He is currently on Turkey’s most-wanted-terrorist list and is accused of leading what the current Turkish officials call the Gulenist Terror Organisation (FETÖ). A Turkish criminal court issued an arrest warrant for Gülen. Turkey is demanding the extradition of Gülen from the United States. However, U.S. figures in general do not believe he is associated with any terrorist activity, and have requested evidence to be provided by the Turkish Government to substantiate the allegations in the warrant requesting extradition. –Wikipedia
Primer on Erdogan:
A complete dick, the establishment puppet and Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan survived a totally not staged coup attempt in July of 2016, and immediately began dismantling Turkish democracy and free speech. Once the “coup” was over, Erdogan made over 40,000 arrests, fired 80,000 people from their jobs (including 3,000 judges, 2,000 university professors, as well as 120 journalists), and has hinted at executions. Wikileaks noted the following after the coup attempt:
Turkey's sudden withdrawl from the European Court of Human Rights, which bans executions, suggests that there will be numberous executions.
If we are to believe the words of the now deceased gunman, today’s assassination was carried out in the name of anti-assad jihadist groups – which would implicate Saudi Arabia, who just lost out on that pipeline through Syria. On the other hand, if we are to believe the unsubstantiated words of the mayor of Ankara, the assassin was part of the Gülen movement. If this narrative is pursued – and/or more solid links are uncovered between the assassin and Gülenism, it will undoubtedly force the USA (and Donald Trump) into a diplomatic nightmare.
Meanwhile, Putin has opined on the matter and it looks like he’s not buying the mayor of Ankara’s shit:
REVENGE OF THE BERNOUTS: Don’t we have the best elections, folks? In a fascinating turn of events, TWO electors have chosen not to vote for Hillary Clinton – instead casting their votes for Bernie Sanders. Muhammad Abdurrahman of Minnesota, and David Bright of Maine have both lost their faith. By my count, that’s two electors who won’t vote for Hillary, vs. Chris Suprun – the ONE piece of shit fraud GOP “faithless elector” who stole valor by lying about being a 9/11 first responder.
UPDATE: And now we have a third Faithless Elector who won’t vote for Hillary!
BREAKING: Colorado elector dismissed under state law after attempting to vote for Kasich instead of Clinton; alternate will vote instead
Russian ambassador to Turkey, Andrei Karlov, was assassinated while giving a speech today in Ankra, Turkey. The Mirror reports that the gunman, Turkish riot cop Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş, shouted “We die in Aleppo, you die here” before opening fire. He then went on a diatribe, shouting “Allahu Akbar,” before reportedly ordering people out of the room and firing more shots into the Ambassador.
Not much is else is known about the situation, however there are currently raids going on against terrorists in Belgium right now, as well as a shooting at an Islamic center in Zurich, Switzerland (see below video). No word on whether these incidents are related.
UPDATE: Assasin that killed Russian Ambassador is Mevlüt Mert Altıntaş and was a Riot police officer in Ankara
This is unfortunate timing just three days after President Obama’s press conference last Friday, in which he stated:
“Our goal continues to be to send a clear message not to do this to us, because we can do stuff to you. Need to do in a thoughtful, methodical way. Some of it will be public, some of it will be clandestine.”
While there is no evidence that Obama or the west is connected, we do know that Clinton Foundation donors Saudi Arabia and Qatar have armed, financed, and otherwise supported ISIS and other terror groups. If this gunman was acting on behalf of the these interests [NSFW] (Free Syrian Army, Al Nusra, ISIL), as it appears, consider this a big “fuck you” from Saudi Arabia and Qatar in retaliation for not getting their pipeline. Also, prepare for the mother of all coalitions against Islamic terror – as we may be about to team up with Russia to kick some Jihadist ass.
Who watches the watchers? Or in this case, Facebook’s recently announced “fact checkers” who are set with the Orwellian task of choosing what you, citizen, should consider FAKE NEWS. In the not too distant future, all articles not emanating from primary sources will be flagged, branded, sorted, and filtered for your efficient consumption. You will be told how to feel about things by arbiters of truth, and dissenting opinions will be weeded out of the news flow. In the case of Facebook, the five “fact checkers” have minimal oversight or accountability. They’re also notoriously biased towards the left, often wrong, and have been slow to correct themselves when called out for their partisanship. This comes on the heels of the Washington Post’s new Twitter fact-checking extension.
Facebook’s new thought police have also been intimately involved in denouncing “fake news,” a phrase which was first used by the social media giant in a January 2015 crackown on “hoaxes and fake news stories.” That said, of the five fact-checkers, two stand out as particularly obvious shills:
The timeline of FAKE NEWS is also interesting. It went from a relatively unused phrase to MSM buzzword about two weeks before the election. It’s resurrection began in April when the Washington Post attacked Donald Trump for a tweet which cited an article from a “fake news” site that claimed Trump had the most support from the rust belt since FDR. Over the ensuing months Snopes, Politifact, Buzzfeed, The Guardian, and Vannity Fair began to use it with increasing frequency, effectively inserting the phrase into the national conversation. Now everyone is using it.
Let’s go back in time and take a look at “Fake News,” shall we?
April 2nd, “Fake News” sorted by relevance (Google’s default)for results prior to 10/29/0216 – the inflection point on the above chart. What do we have here? Oh my, if it isn’t the CIA’s trusted source for leaking national security rumors, Jeff Bezos’ Washington Post linking Trump supporters to Fake News.
Searching for “Fake News” by date, leading up to the election these are all seeds planted before the phrase exploded:
April 11th, liberal propaganda site Buzzfeed stokes the fire by following up on Facebook’s commitment to eliminate hoaxes.
September 2nd, factcheck.org uses the phrase “Fake News”
October 5th, The Guardian reports that Buzzfeed was allegedly hacked on October 5th by a Saudi teen named Ahmad Makki, who defaced the Buzzfeed website with a message that read “Don’t share fake news about us.” Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg was hacked by the same “Fake News” hackers.
November 17th, WaPo publishes a story from a “Facebook fake-news writer” who thinks he got Trump elected.
And here we are today, 30 days later; “Fake News” is on everybody’s mind, and it’s being used to justify new rules that will curate, filter, and silence opinions which do not align with the left leaning “fact checkers” in charge. This is really a fight over free speech, as these seeds of the “Fake News” have blossomed into a gigantic ravenous thought eating plant whose sole purpose is to ensure we don’t think ourselves into a proper government.
Did you know that the CIA invented the phrase “Conspiracy Theorists” in 1967 to attack anyone who challenged the official narrative? Does that sounds like the recently invented phrase “Fake News” to anyone? Indeed, the battle to influence hearts and minds through psychological warfare has been raging for years. Most recently, the once-credible Washington Post, rescued from the jaws of bankruptcy by worm lookin’ motherfucker Jeff Bezos, has become the de-facto propaganda arm of the DNC and the CIA. The paper which bashed Donald Trump all election after helping Hillary dismantle Bernie Sanders, cashed in on it’s remaining journalistic credits and jumped the shark as the exclusive source of unsubstantiated and hotly contestedleaks from the CIA, following their shameful FAKE NEWS industry blacklist. First and foremost, leaking to WaPo before notifying congress of their Russian assessment should be a huge red flag for anyone with half a brain.
In response to losing all control over information, which redpilled the nation and led to Donald Trump’s victory, the establishment / MSM / social media has invented the manipulative phrase “FAKE NEWS” – which is an attempt to stigmatize sources of unauthorized thoughts before they reach impressionable “unaware and compliant” minds. The goal is exactly the same as it was in 1967 – to frame all forms of dissent as tin foil. Twitter and Facebook have started using liberal “fact checkers” to let people know what to think, and in the most recent attempt to sway public opinion, the Washington Post has teamed up with Google to create a new “fact checking” Chrome entension.
With the extension installed, Trump’s Twitter account now includes dozens of fact-check notes on any post with a statement that WaPo’s editors deem inaccurate or misleading. In these cases, the added gray box includes a simple headline, a few explanatory sentences, and a link to a longer WaPo article that offers fuller context. Samples of the extension at work have been posted in the above gallery.
The extension does not appear to offer context or statements in the case of a post being accurate, and Bump tells Ars Technica that the fact-checking has only gone back to late November. His announcement post about the extension claims that “our goal is to provide additional context where needed for Trump’s tweets moving forward (and a few golden oldies).” -ArsTechnica
Here are two examples:
Funny, none of Trump’s true statements seem to be “fact checked.” This anonymous account of the Washington Post’s agenda sums up the propaganda rag nicely:
Coinciding with a new article in the Washington Post, claiming that the FBI and CIA are now in agreement on the Russian hack – President Obama gave a press conference today in which he spoke on the issue.
Long and short of it;the Russians did it, the White House knew about the hacks over the summer, but Obama downplayed the effect so as not to influence the election. There will be an intelligence report issued before Obama leaves office, however it won’t contain all the evidence for national security reasons. The President also suggested that the media’s spotlight on the Wikileaks “possibly embarrassing but not illegal” leaks had a lot to do with public influence. Very smooth, Barry.
Going forward, as expected, the administration – as evidenced by Obama’s own language as well as John Kerry’s rhetoric this week, does not want to throw the country into disarray with a messy transition.
Obama made it clear that his administration knew about the hacking over the summer, but the White House didn’t want to spotlight the issues.
There is an official report coming which will show the Russians did it, and the decision went to the top (Putin ordered).
Told Russia to “cut it out” (lol).
On election integrity:
I can assure the public that there was no tampering with the voting process [no vote machine hacking]. Votes cast were counted. Not seen evidence of machines being tampered with.
On the question of providing proof of hacking:
We will provide evidence that we can safely provide, that does not compromise sources and methods, but I’ll be honest – when we’re talking about cyber security, a lot of it’s classified and we aren’t going to provide it, as it would reveal methods.
(Just believe our intelligence community – they are more trustworthy than the Russians).
Role of FAKE NEWS:
If FAKE NEWS being released by a foreign gov. is almost identical to reports that are being issued through partisan news venues (Breitbart?) then it’s not surprising that the foreign propaganda will have a greater effect.
Moving forward, Obama pointed out issues raised by the hacking.
Cybersecurity – constant hacking always goin’ on
This particular concern about Russian hacking part of a broader set of concerns; how do we deal with cyber issues being used in ways that can affect our infrastructure and stability of our financial system, and our election process.
The problem with hacking is that it’s hard to prove exactly who did it, but we know it was the Russians.
The USA needs to create international norms to prevent a cyber arms-race
Obama expounded that the USA’s primary vulnerability to Russia, or any other foreign power, lies in how divided we are as a nation.
Response To Russia? Obama made it clear that while the Russians hacked the DNC and Podesta, the election itself went off without a hitch, and the integrity of our elections process was not tarnished (voting machines not hacked, etc.). That does not mean we aren’t going to respond:
“Our goal continues to be to send a clear message not to do this to us, because we can do stuff to you. Need to do in a thoughtful, methodical way. Some of it will be public, some of it will be clandestine.”
Important for the Democratic party going forward – How do we show up in places where democratic policies are needed? How do we reach people? Need to shed the latte sippin’ elitist image. (ya think?) If we look for one explanation, or one silver bullet, or one easy fix, we’re going to be disappointed. A lot of factors went into why Hillary lost the election.
With respect to the FBI:it is always a challenge for law enforcement when there is an intersection between their job, and politics. We have a system where we want our law enforcement investigators to be free from politics, but sometimes that involves investigations that touch on politics. In this hyper-partisan environment, everything is suspect. Obama has tried to remain hands-off to preserve independence of law enforcement.
Electoral College:Not weighing in on intel briefing. Obama said the EC is a vestige of an older by-gone era. Some structures in our political system that no longer apply, but typically the popular and electoral college votes will align.
TL:DRcalm your tits, after being in full possession of the facts, Obama isn’t going to declare martial law, and Trump will be President on January 20th, should electors, some of whom are lying sacks of shit, keep the faith.
Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA 8 did some digging into Suprun’s claim that he was a first responder firefighter at the Pentagon on 9/11 – when in fact, a firefighter who knew him and worked with him said Suprun didn’t start until October of 2011. This was confirmed by the Manassas Park, VA Fire Department. WFAA also found that Suprun collected unemployment while his resume suggested he was gainfully employed as a paramedic, and upon further digging, found that of Suprun’s two currently listed employers, one has never heard of him, and the other does not exist. What a fraud. Again;
FAITHLESS ELECTOR CHRIS SUPRUN HAS LIED ABOUT, AND CAPITALIZED ON, BEING A FIREFIGHTER ON 9/11
Look at this lying sack of shit about to throw the first pitch at a Rangers game in 2015 after being introduced as a 9/11 hero. This is stolen valor.
So we’ve got ONE Republican “Faithless Elector” who’s a complete fraud, a video made by a bunch of liberal hollywood traitors which they had to disable voting on because nobody was buying their shit, and Nancy Pelosi’s daughter (wow, how did she get to be an Elector?) who is leading the charge of 49 democrats (and 1 cucked republican) to overturn the results of the election. Are we almost done with this tantrum?
Here’s video of WFAA’s report on Suprun:
Suprun, a Dallas resident for more than a decade, even used his résumé to establish credibility in the Times piece, writing in the second paragraph: “Fifteen years ago, as a firefighter, I was part of the response to the Sept. 11 attacks against our nation.”
He has founded a nonprofit called Never Forget and state records show he is a licensed paramedic — but much of the rest of résumé, publicly available on LinkedIn, is questionable.
In addition, on at least two occasions over the last couple years at crowded Major League Baseball games, Suprun has been introduced as a 9/11 veteran before throwing out first pitches.
“He claimed to be a first responder with the Manassas Park [Virginia] Fire Department on September 11, 2001 and personally told us stories ‘I was fighting fire that day at the Pentagon.’ No, I was on a medic unit that day at the Pentagon and you make a phone call to Manassas Park and you find out that he wasn’t even employed there until October 2001,” said a first responder who knows Suprun and only agreed to speak about him if his identity was concealed. –ABC WFAA Dallas
This is interesting. On the same day that Julian Assange denied any Russian involvement in the Wikileaks, John Kerry made it very clear that he wasn’t going to comment on, or support, the CIA’s unfounded “intelligence” leaks regarding the Russian hacks. Here’s going to be the narrative in the coming months:
Obama knew the Russians were involved in “directing” the leaks (giving it to Wikileaks).
Not wanting to appear to influence the election by making an issue of it, Obama decided to hold back on pursuing the matter.
This will be flushed out in the coming months.
My take: Kerry seemed annoyed at this entire CIA nonsense intended to influence electors. He didn’t specifically say Russia did the hacking – a notion which supports what I’ve been reading from people who know WTF they’re talking about (and which has annoyed the shit out of congressional intelligence committee members). The story will be that while we never know who did the hack, at some point, the Russians got ahold of the emails and delivered them to Wikileaks. You will note in the video that Kerry uses the word “directed,” as in, Russia was a link in the chain. The takeaway from that narrative will be that Russia, and/or Wikileaks, selectively withheld information which would have damaged Donald Trump (which Julian Assange refuted today on Hannity). Perhaps they’ll say next that Russia was further upstream?
Reinforcing the notion of a smooth transition are Obama’s words from a speech given yesterday in Greece – in which he basically reduced the entire effort to disrupt the transition to a temper tantrum.
Considering that now John Kerry, the FBI, and the ODNI do not support the unfounded CIA claims (or at least the manner in which they are being used as an obvious ploy to influence electors), it appears that the core of the establishment has made their peace with Trump’s inauguration on January 20th, while the fringe elements of the left continue to try and cling to power, treasonously shitting on the democratic process in their quest for world domination.
