Yesterday on CNN’s “Messy Truth with Van Jones,” human garbage disposal Michael Moore was shut down by a Michigan Chrysler employee on why he voted for Donald Trump. The unidentified man looks Moore in his fat face and says “He raised the issue… He’s done more for me than any Democrat’s done in my lifetime.”
Moore, of all people, should understand the plight of the US Autoworker since he’s the guy who POINTED IT OUT TO EVERYBODY.

The electoral college did exactly what it was intended to do – prevent the concentration of power into a select group of geographically and philosophically homogeneous areas of the country.
I respect that position, though I was taught the Electoral College was a compromise to prevent elections by the ‘mob’ of people who can be ruled by destructive impulses.
Two wrongs don’t make a right, but close your eyes and imagine if the positions were reversed – Trump wins popular vote by 2.5M+ but loses Electoral vote. You might be philosophical about it, but the guys that grab guns and drive 350 miles to shoot up pizza parlors wouldn’t be.
Longview, you’re right. If Hillary had won the electoral college but Trump won the popular vote by 2.5+ M, fits would be pitched.
That said, I don’t imagine Trump voters rejecting the election results by pulling Clinton voting minorities out of cars and beating them half to death in intersections.
