VIOLENCE: 5 Shot In Downtown Seattle, 1 In Critical Condition, Gunman At Large

Violence has broken out in Seattle a short distance from an anti-Trump demonstration after a heated argument allegedly turned deadly. Not much known about the still at-large suspect at this point, however police are saying it is not related to the nearby protest.

The Seattle Fire Department said five people were shot in the area of 3rd Ave. and Pine Street. One man is said to be in critical condition and the other four, all females, have non-life threatening injuries.

Witnesses say shots rang out around 6:45 p.m. Police say the suspect fled on foot and has not yet been located.

The area where the shooting happened has a history of violence and crime in Seattle.

Police believe the shooting started after a heated argument between a group of people. Witnesses say the suspect walked away from the argument and began shooting, possibly hitting bystanders at a bus stop nearby.

A protest over Donald Trump’s recent presidential victory was also underway at the time of the shooting a few kilometres away.

It is not immediately clear whether the shooting was related to the protests at this time. (GlobalNews.ca)

While police are not linking the shooting to the protest, the incident occurred after a Seattle councilwoman called on protesters to “shut down” inauguration day, stoking tensions in the area.

Also, it’s floating around the web that these were pre-planned demonstrations. If so, it fits right into the DNC playbook of bankrolled birddogging and protests.

Someone found this in the New York craiglist. Could be a troll, or not.

Meanwhile, tolerant protesters in Los Angeles are calling for death:

    BTW…

This news come on the same day that Heat Street confirmed the FBI has sought and received a FISA court warrant to allow counter-intelligence permission to examine activities between personnel associated with Trump’s campaign and Russia. Although the FBI used the New York Times to dispute allegations that a private server discovered in Trump Tower was connected to a Russian bank for potentially illegal purposes, the FBI’s counter-intelligence wing submitted two FISA requests about the possible financial and banking offenses connected to the server — the first of which was denied in June (and which named Trump) and the second which was more narrowly drawn up and thus granted in October.

I hope this isn’t anything big for the sake of the country.

Trader, my guess is that the FBI investigated because of the mere controversy over the server itself. As you posted in my other thread, the Russians have stated they reached out to the Trump campaign. Whether that invalidates Trump’s “I don’t know Putin” comments, I don’t know – however I would think that given the significance of the situation in Syria that establishing diplomatic channels ahead of the election results would be appropriate. Things are very tense right now, and our media isn’t reporting on the gravity of the situation.
