On the open, I added another block of SPY short, as well as a few individual names.
This leaves me 75% short. Most of these positions will be covered by the close, or by Monday’s close.

Hopped on the bandwagon with some speculative SPY puts at the close. Figured we’ll take a bit of a breather on Monday/Tuesday from all this buying…
DP, from your mouth to God’s ears!
That’s what she said.
lol…JP, you having any success in this market?
Woodshedder –
What are the exit criteria in your study? Love your work.
Tom
I’m a retard. Just re-read you prior post. Pardon me.
(And then I entered the wrong sum in the spam protection box!)
TES, one thing I’m going to look for is a lower RSI2 reading. The second block of SPY added on Friday will likely be taken off on the first profitable close.
These studies used a simple time based exit as I was trying to determine what edge exists right after entry and how long that edge persists.
With 3 consecutive up days the edge goes negative after 5 days or so (I’m going from memory rather than click back to look at the study) and with 4 consecutive up days the edge persists positively for the full 20 days tested.
And that is why I think we may be looking at an intermediate term top.
not working…get out and regroup laddie
Doesn’t look like it, does it C&G?
I’ll remain short today but will regroup if necessary based on today’s close.
