$40 buy-in. Top three take home money. Pot should be around $1000.00
That’s where I’ll be this evening.
I say this because I didn’t want folks to think I would miss this opportunity to remind them of who was bullish around here (myself and Jake Gint).
If I had time, I’d link to prior posts over the past several weeks where I made statements such as
- Begin building small, starter positions will loose stops
- Don’t be scared with an initial failure at the 50 day average…keep positions small
- The indexes appear that they need a larger pullback before regaining the 50 day average
- Stay long unless the new uptrend started from the November lows is broken
Wish me luck tonight!
I love poker nights. Unfortunately, my friends wives are stifling many as of late.
Don’t play too many hands Shed. Good Luck

Oddly deja vu-ish, no?
Tomorrow is my poker night, btw. Congrats, and play tight to start, you know the drill.
________
good luck. don’t be a fisherman.
That’s right, Wood.
Chivas was bullish too.
______________
thank you.
Ah, a good ol’ fashioned “No, you’re the best” circle jerk.
Hope I get invited someday.
looks like my comments here still get caught in the filter.
Uh, all my Wave B talk was about the pending/current bear market rally and how huge it could be …
I took 3rd place. I brought home 110.00. Winner took 50%, 2nd took 35%, and yours truly made off (pun intended) with 15%.
Yes Jake, my apologies to Chivas and E8. I wrote the post in great haste to make the 7:00 deal.
That’s good money.
That’s earned income.
_____
Jake, I will complete the circle, when I buy your bro a beer, tomorrow evening.

I think you are coming into an opportune period to do that thing you want to do, ovah heah.
________
nice… how’d you go out? Did you blind down, get caught bluffing, or get a big hand cracked, or get your money in as an underdog?
lol, when it got down to 3, I was in third place. The tourny rules allow 3 hands when it gets to the final three. I was dealt a Jack and 9, off suit. The flop was another Jack, a 6, and something else. I should have went all in, immediately, but I wasn’t thinking clearly, and instead a pushed a huge bet. My bet was called. 4th card I can’t remember, but I bet huge again, about 1/3 of my chips. Again it was called. River card was a King. I went all in. The other two guys called. The man in 2nd had a Jack and 8. I had him beat. The man in first place had a pocket King, and so he won on the river. It worked out fine as we all ended up in the same places we started in.
Wow, that’s a tough way to lose. You shoulda won that. That guy was calling you with just a king? Over time you’re probably a better player than that guy who called you. then again, i only see things in probabilities, which is why I’m not all that good.
