This is a video from my time rafting in the Tara Canyon which is the second deepest gorge in the world after the Grand Canyon. it was rather calm when we went but still great times; if you’re looking for a crazy ride you want to hit it sometime in May when the snow is melting from the mountains.
The water is incredibly clear, the scenery stunning and you make a quick stop over in Bosnia as the river cuts through both countries. Also, the water is beyond frigid which is actually quite nice and refreshing. It can be done as a day trip from the Budva Riviera and the drive there alone is an event in itself; to say it’s scenic would be an understatement.

Dubz, at the end of the vid, was that guy grilling fish that you all had caught?
Sadly no, it was just lunch. You could get the fish or a meat dish which was shown after. I opted for the trout, it was delicious.
Nice. I’ve done some rafting in the SE US.

On a separate note, I was just in Panama for a short time. Nothing too exciting, but a good time. Seems like a good place to head if wwiii breaks out.
Cool video, I was in Valpo over this last X-mas; it’s a seedy port town that had it’s day in the sun ages ago. Worth seeing if you’re in Chile though.
Panama is alright but I much prefer Costa Rica. I’d agree that area is not a bad spot to be should that worst case scenario occur.
