Top 10 reasons to vote sellSELLsell

After coming out of nowhere within the past week, loyal readers of iBC are beginning to understand the real threat coming from sellSELLsell’s insurgent voter outreach campaign. Nate Silver is reporting that unskewed polling data shows a shocking upset is brewing thanks to the “degenerate vote.”

With only hours to go before the election, I thought it would be helpful to share a few last minute reasons why you should vote wisely:

10. Rumors are circulating that Rhino was born in Kenya.

9. Despite some quality posts, Chuck Bennett died in 1973.

8. My campaign manager has experience with Romanian goat herds.

7. Maximus thinks “governments serve people

6. Voting for me is sends a Herman Cain message to the establishment.

5. I’ll post more Rick Ross videos if I win tabbed status

4. Clearly Raul is mentally disturbed.

3. I’m giving away free Obama phones to everyone who votes for me.

2. My investing strategy is a train wreck you know you want to watch

1. My followers are up 44% since my blogging started at iBC.

HD falls, sellSELLsell wins, and the game begins – what’s next?

Rhino ain’t got shit on a punk amateur like myself. sellSELLsell is a maniac with a tiny Scottrade account (no margin style).

My measly $2,000 trade in HD put options is now worth $2,760. Day one of my challenge to gain attention of Le Fly.

If the market shoots higher this morning, I will also get short Sherwin Williams via 5 contracts on the Jan 2013 150 strike. Paying no more than $4.00 each. That will cost me another $2k.

If market sells off, I will buy 100 shares of SODA below $38. My limit buy is actually set at $37.73 – but I may adjust it up to $38.

Those would be my first three positions of the challenge, committing $7,800 in my quest for $100,000 before June 10t, 2013. Feel free to follow along. I’m posting them trades in advance with their simple limit entry points because I want to prove the every man approach to this adventure.

With only $2,200 left in reserve if both these new trades execute, I’m preparing for only two outcomes… joining Rick Ross in a pineapple coffin and being anointed with a tabbed blog by Le Fly himself.

Continuing to look for 2012 winners to fade into the New Year

My bet against HD is based on expected year end sales of some of 2012’s best names (except financials). Is a company isn’t going to juice their year end dividend, look for shortbterm money to exit their trades (like Apple).

That’s why I am looking to buy puts on companies like Sherwin Williams. Trading close to a 52 week high, up huge this year, a pull back to $140 of below is highly likely before mid-January IMHO. If we get early strength this week, I will buy January 2013 puts here as well.

But that doesn’t stop me from continuing to love growth companies like SODA that have finally expanding their television advertising. I’m a big fan of companies that loom to expand their TV marketing – just like those jokers at (SPNG) tried last year. I like SODA below $40, but I’d like it more if I could entry below $36. Let’s see if I can exercise the same patience.

I got my nail gun loaded – short HD

Let the games begin.

As a reminder to new followers, am going to try and win Fly’s attention by blogging my methodical approach f turning my bullshit $10,000 brokerage account into $100,000 within 1 year. Truthfully, I think I can keep $5,000 in cash without ever using it… and for added bravado, I’m going to aim to get to $100k within six months.

Even more, I don’t usually get access to quotes during the day, so I’m broadcasting my entry points before I pull the trigger and I will set limit sell orders (no wimpy stop limits allowed).

After three days of waiting, I got the entry point I was looking for on those January 2013 HD puts with $65 strike price. I got 10 contracts at $1.99 today, right below my $2.00 bid.

I’m willing to buy 10 more contracts if price on the option gets to $1.00, but I have no idea if we will get there. I’m also hoping to get out around $6.00 enter first week in January. Stay posted. I will provide plans before placing limit sell orders in advance.

Again, this is entertainment from an untrained reader. If you follow these trades, the Sandy rebuilding stimulus will get approved and we’ll both takes nails to the scrotum.

It is a play of end of year tax selling for a name that got a big 2012 run up. Sherwin Williams is next in the list, but I am looking this weekend for new plays.

Feel free to debate m degenerate amateur challenge below. I’m grateful for Fly giving the platform to an unwashed like myself.

Patience is hard

Waiting patiently for the right entry point is never easy. The January 2013 puts I’ve been watching closed at $2.13 today. I am waiting to pull the trigger at $2.00 and itching to pull the trigger. Hopefully, a pop in the morning will give me the entry I want.

Rolling my degenerate dice

I have no formal trading experience.

However, after years of reading iBankCoin, I feel I have gleaned an edge above my degenerate peers and begged Le Fly for the opportunity to publicly offer my game plan to turn a measly $10,000 into $100,000 within a year.

I will use this blog to document each trade in real time. I welcome the slings and arrows as I pursue my outrageous fortune. Please feel free to offer feedback, ridicule, and advice. I’m not invested in the money, I only crave to show how iBankCoin has turned me into a different type of market participant than Jim Cramer could have ever offered.

Trades I will offer are not recommended for others. I expect to go bust or hit my goal. There is no middle ground.

Let the games begin.
