Time To Party, TEA Style

Thank you all for acknowledging my winship in shorting P into earnings. You have to understand, especially in this market, it’s not what you have done, but what you are going to do. Thus having beat “The Street’s” numbers- albeit shifty numbers that don’t make sense -has much less to do with valuation than guidance does. Most of you have read my analysis, and that is just the bullet points, there’s 4 pages that follow. I will be riding this down just like I did with ZNGA. I covered half of my position, after doubling down, in order to lock in profits. It should trade down again tomorrow propelling profits in my remaining ~4% position. After this wild ride, tomorrow will be the calm before the storm, with LULU and SWHC set to report on Thursday. How can that go bad though? Two of my favorite things, guns and yoga pants. Lastly, I like betting on TEA.

Today’s moves

My Book

Top Picks: LULU, SWHC, TEA

  1. Congrats, Rhino, on your P winship. Awesome.

BTW, I hadn’t been reading your posts regularly. But I want to reply to your post Why Do Liberals Do This?

I don’t doubt that you or your parents may personally know one or two rude Left Wing people.

I am not surprised that you think Liberals are ruder than Right Wingers. Everyone thinks more kindly of their own political tribe.

If you are moderate, you still lean toward the Right Wing. Because otherwise it would be hard to turn on Fox News, the mouthpiece for the Far Right, & think that the folks there are less rude than those on MSNBC, which has more Left of Center folks. And it would be hard to read the comments on Fly’s blog & decide that the Left Wing folks are more rude than the Right Wing folks.

I don’t expect you will agree with what I just said. Each person perhaps automatically judges their own tribe more kindly than they judge other tribes. I guess when you disagree with someone, then it’s easier to notice their faults than when you agree with them.

    • I never watch FOX News, and can’t stand idiots like Glenn Beck. My Mom was a feminist in the 70’s but has detached herself because of their behavior. I hate both parties equally, the right just seems to be more polite, yet more likely to manipulate behind the scenes. Just my opinion.

    • Regarding Fox vs MSNBC

Hannity and Maddow: I cannot tell the difference between either one, loud, repetitive, non-stop cliches, demagoguery, sound bites as one hour topics. I find both simply spur anger, bitterness, and lower the standard of debate.

  2. @gravestonedoji

Well done with $P. I sold more stuff today to lock in profits or curtail losses…generally getting more defensive (65% cash, 35% long). I don’t have feel for where the market is heading just right now. So I’m sitting out the sideways action in heavy cash, and let the market show its hand first.
