Identity Crisis, Fat Unicorns.

A buddy sent this to me today:

I laughed so damn hard my dogs thought there was something wrong with me. I am definitely not fat, but I am not ripped either, I am, more or less, like my old Rottweiler or my current Pit/Lab, just solid, and stupidly fast for being 270lbs. Anyways, that goes out to the guy who said being 270 was “unhealthy” I regularly do 2000m sprints on the rower machine, at just over 9 mins or so, after having lifted/circuit trained for 45-75mins. I’d say i’m pretty damn healthy.

So, senor Tropicana wants to see videos of yours truly lifting heavy shit, and what the boss wants he gets. Gonna try to get a couple today.

Today’s market action? This market stands to correct itself, especially in tech and social media names that have been ripping the past few trading sessions. Thus I went short ZNGA this morning, it is panning out well so far in AH, thus proving my and The PPT‘s thesis’ right. I sold out of MOS today for a small profit, I was seeing more earlier but as my thesis of a pullback started to pan out, I decided to cut and take profits. The entire rest of my book is  green, including the bitch that is ZSTN. I’d like to cover this fucker, so it can go ahead and drop already. HDSN tried to make a comeback today and had some good volume. I think that is about it. I’ll be back on tonight, and don’t forget to follow all the iBC guys on Twitter.

  1. How tall are you?

  2. HDSN is ridiculous. $25m in ebitda next year eassssyyyy and will be growing at a rapid pace. Pair that against $80m market cap, with $33m in completely liquid inventory and $4m in cash against $10m in debt. So call it $27m in essentially “cash”, so with $82m market cap you’re paying 2-2.5x ev/ebitda for this business experiencing a game changing event, with high quality management who take a modest salary and have huge equity ownership. People are easily scared and if margins next year even vaguely resemble this year’s I think this is a double from here relatively easily.

  3. edit: So call it $27m in essentially NET “cash”
