Santa Is Here, And I Have Many Charts For you

It’s Monday, and it’s time to spot momentum. My Exodus momentum screen spit about 100 tickers at me, with energy names littering my screen. $ERX & $DIG stuck out tonight, as did industry names like $EOG & $SM, both of which I like.

Other than oil, $BIDU is another name I’m happy to see make the list, as I still have a nice size position in. $TW is interesting, as is $SE, which The Fly bought today. Here are some goodies to watch this week:

Let us get the slightest good news regarding China and forgotten about names like $BIDU will rip & roar to the upside. Look at the pressure building on the chart below. Not to mention that the company just announced a good quarter and received a few upgrades over the last week

Over $118, and look out above. Let’s just say it gets and stays thin until $160-165. I am long the stock and looking to get an end of year run for this ’19 laggard– $BIDU:

$CGC, Canopy Growth Company, lit the Cannabis industry ablaze today as the company anointed a new CEO. Not just any CEO, but the CFO from Constellation Brands, Mr. David Klein. You got to love it, and investors did, pushing the stock up 14% on the day. For those looking for the market leader in the cannabis industry, this is the one to look at. You get the cosign from Snoop Dogg, Seth Rogan, and a 40% ownership in Drake’s company, The More Life Growth Company.

It’s been more back and forth action between the bulls and bears, with both sides putting up a good fight for control this week. There has been little on my radar in terms of high probability setups this week, and my action has been very light.

One name that popped up on my screen today was $WORK. This is a name I wanted to get long when it first came public, but the valuation was insane. Some might say at 12 billion, it is still insane, but the technical setup is worth a look here. The stock also saw a large move in the Exodus ALGO score today, tempting me even further to pull the trigger here.

Other tickers that saw a big jump in score include: JD, TSM, NAT, QSR, & KBH. Those were my favorites, today’s full screen can be found HERE.

What’s on your radar here as we wind down the year?

When the penny stocks start popping up on the Exodus hybrid screen you know the market is in trouble. There is still action to be had however, specifically in Biotech. $BLUE saw a huge move in hybrid score today and closed the session well. The gold & silver miners continue to gain traction with $NG, $SA, & $HMY leading the charge today.  And, they just can’t seem to kill $SHOP, up another 6% today.
