Being a bear is actually fun. Right now my portfolio is exploding thanks to the economy shitting the bed. This morning I added a few puts: [[BIDU]], [[AAPL]], [[CMG]], & [[SPWR]]

My current puts are down nicely as well: [[PCLN]] & [[CHL]]

Short Idea #1

Updated for Jake:

The other day I shoot Fly an email asking him for his best short idea. He responds, without hesitation, [[CHL]]. The next day I immediately start buying puts.

I still own those same puts for a nice percentage gain, and today it was my biggest winner. I still ended the day lower thanks to a few bad trades, but CHL helped me stay afloat.

…and I fell for it. In my mind, I knew we were going to hell this week. Had I pressed my bets this morning, I would be up significantly today. I’m already out of [[AMZN]], and I loaded up more puts in [[PCLN]].

On the short side, I have heavy positions in [[CHL]], [[STP]], & [[PCLN]]. I wish still owned my puts in [[GNK]] -it’s dead.
