Stocks To Watch As New Week Begins

Indeed, the bears are in the vice grips this morning as the indices run green. Yes, even $GE, the stock with HIV, is green today.

Let’s go ahead a take a look at our runner screen once again as we start the week. Today’s list is concentrated heavily in oil once again, so that’s where you need to be focused. I’ve already noted that my pick there is $RIG, and I still like it sub $10.

Here are today’s watchlist candidates, we have 100+ to sort through: CLICK HERE FOR CHARTS

Tickers in focus here include: SQ, CHK, OAS, CF, WLL, SM, FSLR, TRVG, & NXTD

Using Finviz To Screen For Earnings

Finviz has a neat little custom feature which allows you to screen for earnings within the next 5 days. So this week’s earnings list will be looked at inside finviz, follow this link HERE.

For those interested in learning how to setup finviz for earnings, I found this video by a link from @WallStreetJesus, @crosshairtrader explains the setup:

Money and Speed: Inside The Black Box

WTF was that? Anyone see these crazy spikes in AAPL intraday?

Reminds me of a video that legacy member, DVK, posted last night inside our trading room, 12631. It’s worth a watch:

Have a good weekend all, I’ll be back this weekend with iBC’s top 50.

Current holdings: FXI, X, GOOG, UCO, NUGT, DRYS, & TZA

ENTER CLAM

I’ve up’d my cash position this morning selling out of a few names, and now stand at about 70% cash heading into the FOMC. I’ve had a great run over the last few weeks, and do not care to give back gains with year end in sight. I did however want some oil, so I added UCO.

The banks are rallying here ahead of the FED, and the bears are just about dead. It certainly feels like we continue to melt up, but I’m content with playing it safe here.
