Just take a look at some of the recent moves in the following names. Are we on the brink of Nuclear war? Judging from the stocks below, somebody has a strong appetite for Uranium. Let’s see if the momentum continues here:
CCJ announced huge cuts to output today.
That does not make any sense. How could we be on on the brink of nuclear war when the entire uranium industry was trading below the cost of production and producing at negative cash flows for years? It takes time to build nukes and finally reversing the trend could not be correlated to imminent “nuclear war”. On the contrary. Uranium could be used to power nuke plants coming on line soon or replenish existing inventory. That was a click-bait headline btw. And I clicked.
