Same story once again this morning as biotech, via $XBI, leads the day. $TAN, the solar ETF, is also up nicely this morning and solar stocks are finally getting a bounce from oversold levels. $FSLR is my favorite there. Oil just flipped green, and trying for dear life to hold $46, I still remain with a starter in $UWTI. Here are your industry leaders this morning:

37-42 will be a battle ground area (which will provide long set-ups) but the chart is screaming this goes to $60.

pull up the 1 year daily chart. draw a channel starting from May last year. there was a brief over throw but the range is between 25 and 37. it’s starting to coil up just above the mid point. using volume profile on TOS you can see there’s enough pent up for a shot north. there’s 2 sets of buyers in the 42 area (may and july) that could sell into a rally if they just want out….but other than that it’s clear sky above.
so easy a caveman can do it!

$46 seems like an important support and it broke that last few days but today is settling below it and looks to close there as well. not concerned?

What about recently smashed dividend paying oil stocks that are generally fundamentally sound like BBEP? I entered that recently.
I’m still in DNR. BBEP could work.
I see oil as a win/win situation now……..Price goes up, my brokerage account goes up, I win. Price goes down, I pay less at the pump, I win. I guess it could also be a lose/lose scenario if I look at it like that.

Doubled down on UWTI, we’ll see what happens. .50 from the previous low at this point…scared but holding, won’t add to this position on additional weakness though. Out if oil goes down another $1
